Tomato 4-inch Big Beef Tomato Big Beef Red (4-Pack)

APRIL 11, 2020These "PLANTS”are so small (two were less than 2 inches tall and two are less than 1 inch). They look sickly and I doubt they are going to make it more than 1 more week1 They were packed extremely well as the box was good to hold much larger and healthy plants. Why would a reliable business put such small plants out for sale??? They were put into 4" pots which made me believe they must be large plants and well worth the price you charge, and be more like the picture in Amazon’s online site? (The picture in the listing shows the plants to be at least 8 inches tall and very healthy!) Amazon says no refund on this item. I plan on getting a refund regardless of your no refund policy on this particular item!!!UPDATE- APRIL !!, 2020.If you get the same poor quality that I have in the above review, you can actually get a refund if you call Amazon and explain the situation to them and you'll get your refund ! I did !

Stay away from this product! When the 12 plants arrived, two of the plant cups were empty, one plant was uprooted and laying on the top of the cup, and a fourth plant was planted upside down, roots sticking up! The “4 inch” plants were actual 1-2 inch plants and are slightly wilted. When I talked with the Amazon rep, explaining my problem, Ed graciously informed me would not “make”’ me return the plants and offended to refund 75% of my payment.I am disappointed I can’t find a way to upload photos of this trash. Stay away from these!

Plants came in excellent condition. We live in an apartment and planted them in pots. All grew and are now over 4 feet tall (not counting the pots) and covered with flowers and baby tomatoes. It's early June. Can't wait until we can enjoy eating the tomatoes. We'll buy these again next year. Since we're over 65 and self quarantining for covid-19, a little gardening and watching the plants grow gives us pleasure.

Beautiful, healthy tomato plants. I ordered them because the nurseries and stores around here were closed, due to the Coronavirus. They grew like crazy after I planted them, bloomed and gave me only 3 tomatoes total. That was it. The tomatoes have been hanging on the plant now for 3 weeks and are not getting red. Strangest thing I’ve ever seen.

They were barely alive when they arrived - only one made It to be planted the same day it arrived. Its struggling and probably won’t make it. The other’s barely had dirt around there roots and fell apart when trying to gently take them out the shipping containers.

Plants are in 4” pots as described and small they very look healthy and strong, green. We planted them right away and they are growing and thriving. I would love to upload pictures of my plants when they arrived and now. Well there are the pictures of Wen they arrived and my huge beefsteak tomatoes. Excellent buy that you won’t regret.

I put 2 in a topsy tuvey and even tho a bird made a nest and laid eggs that makes watering difficult.. lol.. they have grown so big and so many flowers! Already have one tomato starting!!! The other two are doing ok. Just put them in the ground this weekend. I’m hoping they do as well. I do not have a green thumb.

I've learnt a lot during these times, and one is to be extra careful what you buy and who you buy from. For my birthday my grandson bought me some vegetable plants. The tomato plants as well as the egg plants were awful. almost dead upon arrival! We've both spent a lot of money here on amazon, and these plants just adds on as another disappointment. Its not only the money spent but the fact that these plants were bought out of love, but arrived showing a lack there of.
