AlmManufacturing FL381 Metal Blade to Suit Flymo Turbo/ Vision 380

Because this is a non-genuine Flymo part I was a little concerned about buying this blade for my Vision Compact 380 mower. However given the price compared with a genuine Flymo part I thought it was worth the risk. I’m happy to report that I have not regretted my decision in any way. The blade is sturdy, well made and very sharp and is just as effective as the Flymo branded version but at a noticeably lower price. Indeed, I would say that the blade is actually less bulky than the genuine Flymo version and seems to cut more efficiently on my somewhat elderly mower. Just two observations that I think are worth mentioning.1) If your old blade is pretty well worn (like mine was) then I would advise that you remove one of the blade spacers before mounting this new blade. I found that this replacement blade gave a noticeably shorter cut than my old one and that using two spacers with this new blade gave as good a cut as using three spacers on my old (rather worn) blade.2) I found that the central mounting hole was a little tight when it came to fitting this blade to the mower. I took a small file and gently worked around the edge of the hole a couple of times just to open it up slightly and make it easier to mount.All in all I would say that this is an excellent replacement blade that gives a really good cut and at a noticeably lower price point that the genuine Flymo version. I certainly have no regrets having bought this replacement.

Simple to install (did buy a separate spanner from Amazon). Does a great job and cheaper than the "official" blade.

Flimsy, about half the weight of the original. Worst of all this has been produced as a mirror image of the flymo one. This means the sharp edge is trailing and not cutting when rotating. Eejits.

Got this after reading positive reviews and am glad I did. It's a slightly lighter blade than the original but is lots cheaper than a Flymo replacement and does the job great!

Well manufactured, fits Flymo 380 perfectly - So, it cuts the grass well and will have yer toes off, in exactly the same way as the Flymo OEM part ...but at half the price!! Recommended.

Cheaper than a Flymo branded blade and every bit as effective in use. I would buy the same again next time.
