YAMAHAEF2200iS Inverter Generator, 2200 Watts, Blue

Right out of the box this generator was easy to set up and was in perfect condition. I read the owners manual to familiarize myself with its features, added oil and fuel and it started easily. I used it on a trip in the RV where my wife needed power for a CPAP and found that the generator could run for over twelve hours even with making coffee in the morning while watching the TV news.The sound level is very tolerable and the weight of the unit allows me to carry it a short distance and stow it in the RV.I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Great little generator. Easy to use and service. This is the second Yamaha generator that I have owned. I never had any problems with the first one, which is one reason that I made this choice. I considered a Honda, but this price on this was too good to pass up. Starts easily, runs quiet. Would recommend.

Great deal, I bought two. Added oil and gas, and after a few pulls they started up. It’s a Yamaha, quality built, it’s sturdy and built to last. I gave 4 stars because the description and the box describe an easy access panel, just twist the knobs and take the panel off. But neither unit has an easy access panel. It is not difficult to get the access panel off, you need a Phillips screwdriver, but why not easy access?

Get generator for the money. Quick easy set up. Runs and starts great. Highly recommend.

I gave it 5 stars in the hopes that it last as long as the Yamaha EF1000 that I purchased in 1993 for a trip to Alaska. It ran off and on for 23 years and I believe if I could find a coil pack it would run again.I purchased this to replace 2 Predator 3500 that have had problems with running properly. Tune ups, oil changes and the replacement of the electronic control and carburetor and still having problems to get to running.So it appears I will need to purchase a second Yamaha EF2200is and a parallel cable to run my 15,000 BTU unit. But from the time I ordered 4/7/25 to 4/10/25 the price has increased by $200.00. Thanks to the Tariffs.

Works like it should. I bought this for backup power for my refrigerator when the power goes out due to planned outages or what they're calling public safety power shutoff due to high winds (to prevent fires). I haven't had the chance to use it during an oitage yet, but I tested it and it works great to power the refrigerator so my food doesn't spoil. That's all I need it for. I can live without lights and electricity otherwise.

I also have a Honda EU2200 and have found that this generator matches it in every category and even has some useful features my Honda doesn't (fuel gauge, 12VDC Socket).
