Goldtouch GT6-0017 Gel-Filled Mouse Pad (Black)

I have been using a Goldtouch Gel Filled Mouse Pad since 1997 when I was "ergonomically fitted" with mouse, keyboard, adjustable keyboard tray, chair, and mouse pad to prevent carpotunnel, reduce fatigue and pain, and enhance productivity. In my work, I sat at the computer using the mouse 8-12 hours a day and began experiencing wrist/hand pain, so my employer had me ergonomically fitted. It was a win-win solution. The ergonomic products made work comfortable. When I lost my job in 2001 and went to work elsewhere, I provided my own ergonomic chair, mouse, and mouse pad because I started feeling discomfort and pain after using the "normal" equipment provided by my new employer. It is now 12 years later, and I still work in front of a computer with intense mouse use. I have the same setlup both at work and at home. The product holds up well, but I wanted to replace the pad because it had developed a crack on the underside from curling over the edge of the tray. Back in 1997, this was the only ergonomic mouse pad. Now-a-days, there are many different types of cheaper gel mouse pads, but I figure "why experiment with new", when this pad has withstood the test of time. This will be the last pad I buy because I am now 64, and this should last me the rest of my life. The "cracked" one still worked fine, but I am a bit obsessive and don't like imperfection.

I bought this when I had to bring the mousepad I was using at home back to work when we started working hybrid schedules. It’s the same mousepad I was using and I wanted to keep everything as similar as possible. I like how cushioning it is and how easily the mouse travels across it.

Smell is not as bad as others have mentioned. Its what I expected - nice size and pretty comfortable.

I LOVE this!! Was given one at work after an ergo eval. The photo should show the slant, as it would’ve been easier to find and people wouldn't be surprised. The material feels nice and it’s great quality. Also showed up very quickly. Thank you for this great product!!

For 10 million dollars i'd prefer a better build quality. It's decent, but I don't think it was worth my soul

I purchased two, one for home and one for office. Also purchased a nice, ergonomic Anker mouse for both. Both mice stopped working well, jumping around. Ended up buying two more. After little time the other two did the same. After reading and researching, because of this mouse pad, the way this pad is built is hindering the optical eye of the mouse. I really like the mouse pad but I sure have invested alot in mice thinking I had bad ones. This doesnt work well with an optical mouse. I would not recommend this product if you have an optical mouse.

This is a wonderful mouse pad! I used this in my last job and I loved it!

Hands-down the best mouse pad I ever owned. Worth every penny
