1920s Flapper Dress Style-2

My son and daughter-in-law chose the Roaring 20’s for their wedding. This dress was absolutely perfect for the day. I also purchased a peacock feather headband and the entire outfit remained comfortable from setting up some of the reception in the early morning until after midnight. I am 5’ 4” and weigh roughly 140 pounds. I typically wear an 8 in regular clothes and I wear a small for top and bottom in scrubs. With the reviews, I decided on a medium. The fit was very flattering, the dress was elegant, yet it did not take away from the beauty of the bridal party. My 5’11” 120lb size 3 daughter tried it on first and it looked so nice on her that I was certain it wouldn’t ever fit me. The only part of the dress that was a smidge big was under her arms. To say the dress is incredible forgiving is an understatement. I felt like I had found the jeans from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. If you are on the fence about this dress, this dress will not disappoint! I’m blonde, so the green dress with the black fringe looked awesome. It wasn’t tight, I would bend over and the top covered me completely, no peek-a-boo dress malfunction the theme was fun and since it’s 2020, I know it will be a popular theme for many events all year. Once I get Picts back, I will share. On a side note, it arrived in a padded envelope and was very wrinkled. I immediate hung up on a hanger in the bathroom. The steam from the water relaxes the wrinkles away. I didn’t iron it. Thanks for providing such an awesome dress that allowed me to enjoy the event without breaking the bank. Perfect in every way!!

Comfortable but it would ride up a little when going up or down stairs. Loved the look. Easy to put on. Dress itself was really good quality. The necklace wanted to choke me because it kept adjusting and getting tighter. Wore it around the Winchester mansion for Halloween ball.

I bought this dress for the upcoming New Year’s Eve “ SPEAKEASY PARTY”, received it very quickly. It is a very beautiful dress, very well made, I tried it on, very comfortable to wear as well. Unfortunately, I am short, it looks ok on me. I guess it will look great for anyone over 5’3”. I am still thinking about it that I should keep the dress or not.

Very nice quality, but this DOES NOT come with head piece. Every photo shows a headpiece, so I assumed it was included. I wish I'd ordered from a different "brand" so that I got accessories too. It fits pretty snugly. I maybe should have sized up (it was hard to get on and off, but once on was comfortable), but I bought my normal size.

Dress is very well made. I do however, wish it would have been slightly shorter (hence my 4 star rating). Sizing is accurate. Green isn't as stunning as I was hoping by photo, it is more a dark tone of green (again my 4/5 rating). I'm a 14/16 in dress due to bust line and ordered a XXL. There is enough room that it will be comfortable for an evening out but not unflattering. I'm also able to just slip the dress over my head and won't have to worry about catching the material in the side zipper.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! The details of the beading and stitching is impeccable. The only draw back is the sizing is not correct. I wear a 2x and ordered a 3x for good measure. It didn't go below my hips. I would have needed a 5x the way this is sized. Just keep in mind sizing, but the dress is beautiful.

This dress is well made and looks great in person. It runs small, I am a size 4 or 2 in dresses and the medium fit perfect.

This is a beautiful dress. I love the richness of the color. I read prior reviews to determine fit. This dress has a zipper so I ordered up a size (XL) and another dress from BABEYOND that is similar with no zipper (L). I liked the fit of the other one - so I returned this - but I'd confirm what I read about sizing. I'm 5'5" and weigh 160lb. I carry my weigh in my middle -- so I'm usually a 10/12 but didn't want the fit to accentuate all of that. The dresses both have a weight to them - along with a body shaper - make for a nice fit that I'm comfortable in. There was more room in the XL -- so I probably could have gotten away with the L. I read other reviews where they thought it was "cheap". I feel for $40 range it was actually quite tasteful. For how infrequent I would wear it, it's well worth it. (Bought for a 1920's theme gala.)

Bought this for a great Gatsby themed event. AMAZING quality, beautifully made, beading is well done, details are exquisite. It is fitted and not at all stretchy. Buy exactly your size or go up one size. Do not size down. Otherwise comfortable to dance all night in.

Found the measurements/sizing provided fairly accurate. I kept reading that people recommended to go up or down a size as the garment is stretchy. I'm an Australian size 12 and I bought M, L & XL. The large was a better fit but as I'm short, it was very long. Bought it for a Gatsby Christmas function and it was lovely. Although the garment is certainly a cheaper material made for a price point, overall the beading is well done and I am certainly going to get more wear out of it.

I absolutly love this dress. I bought it for a dinner and dance evening. I wasn't completely sure when I purchased it. When it arrived and I took it out the packaging I was really surprised how well the dress was made. It looked better than it did in the original picture. I am between a 14/16 uk size so i ordered a large, and it fits perfectly. I wasnt sure about the trim at first but it didnt bother me once it was on. It was also a very comfortable dress to wear. I had so many people that night tell me my dress was fabulous. I am literally over the moon with it. Worth every penny. And will defo order this style again.

Das Kleid sieht auf den Fotos umwerfend aus, leider ist die Realität etwas anders. Die Fransen waren beim Auspacken teilweise schon gelöst. Der untere Saumabschnitt ist nicht sehr schön, dass dieser so sichtbar ist, wirkt leider etwas schlampig. Und man muss sehr groß und schlank sein, ansonsten sieht das sehr unvorteilhaft aus. Ich habe das Kleid Anfang Dezember in die USA zurückgeschickt und warte seither auf die Gutschrift.
