I trust HIKARI products, but some HIKARI products enhance the wrong color of my goldfish.Some of my goldfish faces become black.Of course, there is an individual variance, but this HIKARI product doesn't change the fish color.My fish loves this product the best.

I got this because it is for cold water. The fish like it.

High quality fall and spring food. The pellets are less than 1/8" which makes them suitable for small gold fish. No need to feed when temperatures are in the 40's or lower. Feeding goldfish when the water is cold can easily kill them as they cannot digest food. I go all winter and only feed a couple of times when the weather warms up.
