NOT my first robot vacuum, but by FAR the BEST.
I bought this because my last cleaning helper bit the dust. I have to admit, the last one I bought didn't exactly inspire confidence in buying a second one, but I figured if this new unit were to be able to at least keep my main living area somewhat pet hair and dust-free, it would be well worth trying again. I have to tell you, I was very pleasantly surprised. The Ziglint unit fits easily under the majority of my living room furniture. (I had wondered if she'd get stuck under there, what with it being in shadow, but she seems to navigate just fine.) Not only did she navigate my rather crowded living room, but then, she moved onto my kitchen. When she was done with that, she went into one of the carpeted bedrooms. I expected her to get stuck, but she didn't. What she DID do was suck up enough hair and dirt from my FRESHLY VACUUMED FLOOR to cause her dust collector to get completely filled. Wait. What? I'm not kidding. So, I cleaned out the collector and the filters with her little cleaning tools and set her going again. She went right back to work.Pros: Relatively easy setup. I had some very minor issues getting her connected to my Echo, but that was just a matter of user error. I had to think about the best place to put her, because the docking station needs to be next to a wall so she doesn't scoot it around when she goes back to it. She obviously cleans very well, at least as far as I'm concerned. The packaging was sturdy. The addition of batteries for the remote control was nice. She's currently (even as I type this) doing her fourth run through my living room. She has yet to map the entire house, but just in watching how she runs around in here, it seems as if she's very smart, and isn't going to simply go over the larger parts of the room over and over again.Cons: I wish she had some sort of audible "I'm stuck" or "Hey, stupid, my dust bin is full" notification. If she has one, I didn't hear it from another room, and there was nothing on the app that indicated she was doing anything but her job. I've seen other people say she's quiet, and I will tell you that she is quieter than the exterior rumble of a tractor. The noise isn't troublesome--it's just a steady drone that you soon get used to hearing.Bottom line: I was VERY glad I bought this little machine--named Rosie. And I am definitely going to keep my eye on this company for other offerings. If you guys at Ziglint should decided to engineer a robot mop, please let me know. I want one. (I did look on Amazon--which is how impressed I am, but I didn't see anything).

Disappointing... trash
Pro--It does do pretty well with dog hair.-The catch container seems to be a reasonable size.- it automatically Finds Its way through your house until the battery is almost deadCons--did not even last a year, battery done for.- it will not vacuum any dark carpet at all- it gets stuck a lot. You have to really babysit this thing- hair clogs up the brushes often- it does not appear to retain any map- slams into things constantly ( it's kind of like it develops Amnesia, sometimes it remembers where your furniture is and sometimes it slams into it really hard. Slams into things more often)- does not work on the timer function. Well maybe 30% of the time it will work at best.- does not return to a docking station before dying. (Wanders aimlessly normally no where near the charger)- has a hard time finding the docking station when you set it directly in front of it.- follows you around any room you're in with it. No joke it is constantly under your feet. Kind of amazing it can find me but it can't find its dockAfter the reviews we saw in here I have been quite disappointed. Overall it mainly vacuums the floor when you watch it but this is not something that's going to automatically run and clean your house like you might expect from the information given. I have not seen much proof that it remembers the layout of your house if it does it's only sporadic at best. I've reached a point where I wish I had returned it. Definite buyer's remorse, spend more money get a better product.UPDATE: roams my house running into things until the battery is dead. Seems to have lost its ability to find the charging station unless it runs into the station literally. I have to "rescue" the vacuum repeatedly.

Big Bang For the Buck
We haven't used any of the Alexa stuff so I'll let you know later how that works. It put in a good 2hours doing its thing on the floor the first day we got it, and then it went back to recharge without any help or prompting from me. We have two Husky-Shepherd pups and though I didn't notice any hair to speak of, the dust box was filled with it. I especially like the idea of removing the dust box and washing it out. The two previous robots we had did not have removable dust boxes and that meant leaving dust in the robot. We live in the desert and that means dust. The remote control was very easy to program and it took less time the second time it started. I have nothing to report on a negative side. It is not very noisy and it does an excellent job.
