Better ingredients and better taste than the US version. Once you had the European ovomaltine you never go back to the trashy, sugary, gmo US version 😉💙

The product arrived damaged I received it without a lid and used

Love the product. Outer cardboard box was fine, but product had burst open and was hard caked all over the inside. Lost half the productNeeds to have bubbles wrap or other cushioning inside box.

This product brought back a lot of fond memories, as it's just like the hot chocolate I drank in Switzerland.

The product is great as expected, but the can was burst open in the box and chocolate powder was spilled all over the box and the other items in there. Not only did I loose a good amount of my expensive drink, but it was also quite messy. Unfortunately I do not have a picture of it, but it did look identical to what was posted before. The lid and the foil cover were gone. Amazon please package this better!!!

The original ovaltine chocolate flavor. This is the Swiss made German/Austria version. Composition: 51% Barley malt extract to 13% Cocoa powder ratio. This contrast to the British version with 73% Barley malt extract to 8% cocoa powder. So if you prefer chocolate flavor this version under review is your best bet. I buy whichever of this two versions that is available.Skip the versions that come in glass jar regardless of the claims. Ovomatine comes from Germany or Austria while Ovaltine comes from UK.
