It lasts a long time

birds made all gone!

The seed cylinder was in tact and in good shape when I received it, and I hung it right away. For the few minutes it was up, the squirrel loved it - but then we noticed there was a mold or fungus on it. We tried to cut it away but after cutting off a third of the cylinder, we decided just to throw it away. Aside from the cost, the squirrel really liked it so I hated to do that, but I certainly don’t want to make him sick. I ordered another one today in the sincere hopes that this one will be clean enough to hang for all the birds and squirrels that visit our deck. We also ordered the bugs and nuts cylinder at the same time and that one was fine. It is currently hanging on the deck.The second cylinder that I ordered to replace the moldy one was delivered quickly and in excellent condition with no mold or fungus. We hung it immediately and the squirrels and birds absolutely love it. I will definitely buy this again.

The media could not be loaded. As a Prime Member I had no idea that this Woodpecker Feast was not returnable. Had I known that I would have never purchased it. I am requesting a refund. The Woodpecker Feast is to large for my feeder.

Works as Described.

My last birdfeast log for 32.00 came with one third of the seed unattached which caused the log to be two thirds full. The rest of the log , the seeds were becoming loose; which would render the log useless to birds and squirrels. Either the log was very old or it wasn’t attached correctly. This was not due to it being in Transit or the cellophane packaging; since I have purchased quite of few of these. Whomever constructed the log dd not do a good job or the materials and seeds were old. I received the bird feast about 8 days go and my birds and squirrels are awaiting the log for food. This is the second time this happened. When I received the log, it was halfway crumbled again. I think the log is old or the material used to glue it ( non toxic is not done correctly). You need to stop selling these logs that crumble. The reason people buy them is because the birds, squirrels have a lot more food, rather than replacing them with small logs frequently.

I was beginning to get far too many glutens when I used the regular bird seeds. I tried this to see how it would work. I've put away my old feeders and use this permanently. All types of birds come to feed. Everyone gets their turn. It is large enough that multiple birds do eat it at one time. There's not much waste as there is with regular feed. Very happy with this selection.

Chicadees, woodpeckers, pine warblers, eastern bluebirds, titmouse, hermit thrush and even mourning doves all love these. They tend to last much longer than the square blocks.
