Ergomotion Adjustable Bed Base 5100 Split Cal King

My wife and I spent alot of money on a adjustable bed base and let me tell you this has been one of the worst experiences ever! We loved our Ergomotion adjustable bed base for over 2 years, until one night I woke up to sparks flying everywhere from the plug outlet on the side of our bed! And I'm not talking little sparks...There was so many sparks that it almost caught our bed room floor on fire! If my wife hadnt ran and unplugged the bed, our house would have caught on fire! I'm not sure if anyone has seen how dangerous electrical fires are! This was crazy! And within a matter of seconds the outlet on the side of the bed had melted and the sparks grew into a serious situation. During the process of unplugging our bed my wife ended up burning her hand. Our entire house smelt like electrical fire and melted plastic! The smell was so bad we had to move myself my wife and two small children out on the patio for the night. The scarest thinng is that if I wasent a light sleeper, our carpet would have caught on fire and who knows what would have happened. My wife and I didn't even feel save with the Ergomotion bed base in our house! I called the custmer service line and they have done nothing for us! The Ergomotion adjustable bed base is still under complete warranty and they do nothing to help us. I can't even get someone to call us back. This is unbelievable to me. I thought becuase of how serious the situation was that they would bend over backward for us to make it right....I WAS SO WRONG! They act like this is some kind of joke or something...my family almost dying in a house fire because of a faulty product they made. I should sue this company. This company is a disgrace. They literally take your money and run. I expected great customer service for the amount that I spent with them, but I was completly wrong. All I wanted was for them to make what happened right. For them to honor thier warranty and exchange our bed base for a SAFE ONE! BEWARE doing businenss with this company. After the sale, they do not care about thier customers. I wanted to warn people about this situation it could save your FAMLYS LIFE!
