I really like this mat. I ordered the largest size, 24 × 32, and it is perfect for my needs. I bake pizza for my kids a couple of times a month, as well as cookies, and this mat works great. It stays firmly in place without any problems, and the dough does not stick at all. It is very convenient to use and keeps my counter much cleaner. Before, I spent a lot of time cleaning dough off the counter, and sometimes it was really hard to remove. Now it takes just one minute to clean everything. I also do not worry anymore about the dough sticking or tearing. With this mat, baking is so much easier and more comfortable. I honestly wonder why I did not buy it earlier.

This is the perfect size for my counter. I make bread often and pies from time to time. I find the "stickiness" of the mat a plus when it comes to staying on the counter. It does not budge even with firm kneading or rolling. As long as there is enough flour, the dough is fine. I have not tried rolling cookies yet. I will and will add to this review. I see people do not like the thickness finding it too thin. I love how thin it is. It is easy to wash and roll up for storage. I hang it over a clothes horse to dry.

Perfect for making pie crest

Great size - big enough to make rolling out pastry crusts a breeze. Very thin - the description says it's thicker than most mats but if that's the case, it's not enough to make a difference. It lays flat but is thin enough that air bubbles are trapped between the mat and the counter. This doesn't affect the performance of the mat but is annoying if you're trying to roll out pastry and bubbles are scooting underneath. Easy to use and clean - just wipe with a damp, soapy cloth and allow to air dry completely before rolling up for storage.

I absolutely LOVE this mat!!! Before I get started, I have to say I was so impressed with this mat, I ordered the large size (24 x 32) the very day I received this one. Never using a silicone mat before, I bought the smaller size (16 x 20) to try it. For the initial test run, I used it to knead pasta dough. Anyone that has made pasta by hand, knows that pasta dough requires time and serious elbow grease. This mat worked like a charm! The pasta didn't stick at all -- I hardly needed to add any flour. This particular size fits in a small counter space between my stove and the wall, so I was able to knead the dough right on the counter in this tight spot, with no mess, and for the first time -- no flour all over the floor! Before, I was using a 12 x 18 plastic cutting board to knead dough, and I was always adding flour and/or oil to keep the dough from sticking to the board. Also, when I was putting the pasta through the machine, I noticed the dough has such a smoother, more elastic consistency than usual. I was able to focus on kneading and creating a great final product, not focusing on minimizing the mess. The directions did say to clean it with boiling water before using it. Instead, I put in the sink with steaming hot water and dish soap and let it sit for a few minutes, and it worked just fine. I store it rolled up, and find the mat does not stick to itself. The mat in the pictures is the smaller size (Medium), and I found it plenty big enough to prepare ravioli. However, I was so impressed with how well this mat worked, I immediately ordered the largest size to cover the top of my portable butcher block island, which is 28 x 42. When using this mat, the cleanup is virtually non-existent. After use, just rinse it off in the sink, and it looks like new. No scrubbing required, unlike my old plastic cutting board. In closing, I love this mat, highly recommend it, and can't wait to try it out for making cookies and cinnamon rolls. Thank you for reading my review, and have a wonderful day!

I'm from the era of those stiff plastic ones that rolled up, and skidded all over the counter when you were working with them. I was skeptical of this thing and expected to hate it and return it, but I wanted to give it a try. I have been really amazed. I bought the white with the red print and it is very easy to see, no concerns in that regard. I've used it many times now and it has never disappointed. It sticks to the counter nicely, which is helpful in rolling out dough. A couple times I haven't had to add extra flour because the dough wasn't sticking to this mat. I've done sourdough, challah bread, biscuits, pie crust, cinnamon rolls...I can't remember what all and I've done some of those more than once. I really have found the mat to be much nicer than my old one. I bought the larger one and washing it is a challenge, but I'm figuring that out and that's my problem not a fault of the mat. Storage is much more simple than the old plastic version, fold this up and it takes up much less space. I did cut on it with a knife once, very gently, and didn't damage the mat. I don't think I'd recommend that and don't plan to do it again, I was careful to barely get to the bottom of the dough. I have generally used something dull, such as my bench scraper or another similar tool, and no damage to the mat. I would absolutely recommend this product.

I didn’t know I needed these mats. I am cooking a lot and always looking for ways to keep my countertops clean so it’s not a big chore at the end. These make cleanup a breeze. They are the perfect thickness to work and they lay out flat. They provide great protection and don’t slide. They are an absolute must for baking and prepping food. They work really well and a neutral color allows them to fit in without looking out of place. I really like the measurements which make it a great value for the cost.
