My tomatoes went nuts when I put in the wholes as I planted my tomatoes this year. I will be using this again next year.

This stuff works great. I've been using it for years and my tomato plants are always huge and healthy. I grew a 2 lb tomato with it last year!

I have several varieties of peppers, chilies, tomatillos, and cherry tomatoes in planters, and I grow them in a southern exposure in my Phoenix, Arizona yard full of rocks--where it's too hot to grow maters in summer. I plant my seeds or seedlings in late September for a winter and spring harvest. I put some Mater Magic in the bottom of the planting holes, and the plants grew strong and dark green, and put on fruit. This is noticeably better performance than I had with Miracle Gro. Is it worth the rather steep price? Not sure. I wonder if I can find this blend for a better price in a larger container, or if I can approximate it myself with bags of the same ingredients.

I've added oyster shells and chicken shells to my soil deep below the tomato roots in the past. I've still had bottom tomato rot until now. I watched an organic gardener on YouTube say how he recommended this. He was so right! I've had beautiful, gorgeous, perfect German Johnson tomatoes this year. I also applied rubber mulch around them to make it too heavy for horned tomato worms to climb up to the tomato plants. Between Mater Magic and the rubber mulch, I've had the best tomatoes I've grown in the last 30 years. Will stock up on this. I have to admit, I used it for some banana peppers I planted when I didn't have any other fertilizer around. LOVE this!

Used this for the first time this season. Have had problems in the past with growth and yield due to very heavy clay content of my soil. This year, prepped the beds a little differently and used this as a post planting addition. The plants basically went nuts. I struggled all summer to contain, support, and redirect the crazy shoots. I was getting so many more fruits that I almost didn’t mind how many the critters were getting at. Next season, different plan. Caging the beds, supply a structure for the plants, drip lines (plants got so thick this year it was hard to water root level) use this stuff and stand back!

Pretty good, but expensive for what you get. I’d need about 5 of these little bottles for my garden. This year I compared this, miracle grow shake and feed, and Pennington Rejuvenate in my garden and the Pennington plants are the most productive so far, it was the cheapest also, so I’ll stick with that

I tried another fertilizer on my tomatoes this year and was very disappointed. This "magic" fertilizer really works great!
