This book is written for everyone from beginners to professional chefs. If you want easy, there’s easy. If you want a project, there are some fun ones! All tied to your favorite movie or shows, in the typical Babish way.

It's what you expect
I expected a quality cookbook with interesting recipes, most of which are better for entertainment than eating. That's what I got. The recipes are clear, come with short explanations on why they were chosen, and the pictures are professional. I knocked off one star because in a book like this, featuring food taken from movies and such, recipes that will likely not be made, the biggest draw are the pictures. I wanted to see a picture of every recipe, especially since I know he made them for his cooking channel. Unfortunately, not only were there random pictureless recipes, they were the ones I wanted to see most. I would have been fine without the cubano sandwich. It's a sandwich. And yet there were multiple sandwich recipes all with photos. But the grandest recipe of all, the one that Babish himself calls "a thing of beauty," dind NOT have a photo! Sooooo disappointing.

Great cookbook! Highly reccomend
I have followed Andrew on YouTube for years now. I love pretty much everything he does. He is so humble and highly relatable. One of my favorite things that he does in this cookbook is give his honest opinion on the outcome of the recipes. The candy spaghetti recipe is funny to see and nothing I would ever try. I enjoy all of the tips and little facts about the recipe or the episode that he published. On one hand I don't like having recipes in here for something that no one should ever try...but when you look at the concept of the book, I do believe it was important to include some of the ridiculous. I remain a Babish faithful and look forward to everything else Andrew puts out.Buy the book, its worth it. FYI, my favorite recipe was Kevin's Chili from The Office....only because I haven't attempted the Cubano from Chef yet.
