Z71 for Chevy Colorado Silverado 1500 Black Red Stainless Steel Black License Plate Frame Cover Holder Rust Free with Caps and Screws (2)

I have a 2019 Colorado Z71. The plates sit inside the lip between the bumper and the frame and the Z71 emblem gets covered up and the mounting holes are about 1/2" to high so there is no way to mount the plate. On the front when you put the license plate into the mounting holes and the license frame it raises the plate so high it is out of the frame clips at the bottom and flops around. If they would fit they would be just fine. The low rating is because I cannot use them.

Very disappointed. These plate-frames came with screws and caps, unfortunately the screws are not license plate screws and do not fit the threaded mounting holes. One can only assume the caps are designed to go with the screws that come with the kit. Caps are too small to be used with standard license plate screws. Manufacturers need to put a little more thought into a product before they shovel junk out onto the market place.

Complete junk. Started to rust a couple of months after I bought them. A couple of years later and they are now completely rotted. They are definitely not stainless steel.

As many other reviewers have stated the bumper covers up Z71 print, you can only see the top half of the logo. Giving it one star because the product does match the description. This frame was brought for my 2018 Silverado 1500.

I bought this for my Silverado because it has the rally 2 package and does not have Z71 decals and I wanted something to show it was a Z71 looks great highly recommend

They are nice look good but screws for mounting are to small don’t see way that problem has not been corrected after all the reviews bringing it to there attention

I have a 2007 Avalanche. The plates sit inside a lip a little and the Z71 emblem gets covered up. But still looks good from the front.

Like others have mentioned, the writing can be partially or completely hidden by your bumper. In addition the frame was larger than my US plate which resulted in the attachment holes not lining up with the vehicle mounting location. To resolve this issue I had to grind off part of the bottom of the frame.
