This was a good book!
This was a really good book! I've read all the Rick Riordan books and I'm a total fan! I thought this ebook tied the three ebooks in the series nicely. It still left room for hopefully a whole series of novels about the mixing of Greek and Egyptian magic! From what Percy said, I'm guessing that this ebook happens after the Blood of Olympus and I think that was about Leo when he said that he was tired of making friends and then his friends leaving and some not coming back i.e. Leo. Another reviewer was right, Percy did seem a little dumb in this book! I mean he was so mature in the Blood of Olympus and in this book it seemed like he went back to his 12 year old immature self! I just wanted him to act more mature than that. I mean he literally went to hell and back! Also his relationship with Annabeth wasn't really what I was expecting! They seemed to kinda be nitpicking at each other and they didn't seem that close. Their relationship had evolved so much since from the first book to the Blood of Olympus and in this book their relationship was like, I like you, but i'm still annoyed with you! Carter and Sadie where awesome though! But I wish that it had been from two POVs maybe Percy's and Sadie's so we could see the fight from the Kane's POV! I think that Rick should make a novel series about the Crown getting stolen from the first Nome and being stolen by some evil Villain. Then Sadie, Carter, Percy and Annabeth would bring Camp Jupiter, Camp Half Blood, and the Brooklyn Nome together to fight back the evil and save the world. That would be the best thing ever! And it could be five books.Anyways, onto the sample of Magnus Chase! It was amazing and I cannot wait to read the series. I really liked Magnus right from the beginning and it was great how they brought in Annabeth so early in the series. I just thought Rick was going to have Annabeth be mentioned in passing. I also like how Rick's going with the first person POV like he did in Percy Jackson. I like that better than third person because you really get to know the characters. Rick is one of the few authors that I've read that can write first person really well! I'm mad that this is only going to be a trilogy though!Since Percy Jackson was 5 books, then the Kane chronicles was 3, then the heroes of olympus was 5, now Magnus chase is 3, the next series is going to be 5 books because I think he rotates between 5 and 3 book series. Hopefully the next series will either be with all the camps, and nomes, or Chinese of Indian myology because it says on his website that he was thinking about making that a series! I really hope he does Chines because that would be something really different and unique! I was a little confuse though by his other uncle, I forget his name. Not Fredrick but the other uncle. I though that he was his dad not his uncle? How is he related to Annabeth then If his mom's a norse goddess? I guess we'll find out. Even though I'm really sad that the Percy Jackson series has ended, I'm excited from Percy Jackson's Greek Heroes in August and the rest of the comic books that will be coming out. The Throne of Fire Graphic novel is going to be epic! I loved the 1st one! Hopefully we will grow to love Magnus and the other character in the series as much as we've loved Percy and the Kanes! I'm excited for what Rick create next!.Happing reading everyone! Avani of the Earth Kingdom

So much fun!
This whole crossover was so epic that it felt like it could’ve been a whole series on it’s own, it was certainly complex enough. But at the same time, it was SO perfect just as short stories. It makes no sense, I know, but it was just great! The plot was very interesting--I have never heard this Greek/Egyptian god before nor the magic, so that was very cool to read about. I mean, a god that is both Greek AND Egyptian? Mind = blown! I love mythology of any kind, so this was absolutely perfect for me! I learned something new!And as always, I loved the characters. It’s been awhile since we last saw Sadie and Carter in The Kane Chronicles, so it was nice to see them again in this. And, of course, Annabeth and Percy! Yay! The interaction between these four was my favorite thing EVER! This last short story was told in the POV of Percy, YAY! While we got to see his POV in the Heroes of Olympus, that is in 3rd person POV while this was in 1st. And I much prefer 1st person POV.This was so much fun, as always. Crossovers are just great! So if you love any/all of Rick Riordan’s series, I highly recommend you read these short stories! They are amazing!

Great Collaboration!
The culmination of the Percy Jackson and Kane Chronicles crossover was better than the previous two parts. Setne was a worthy adversary. I liked that the Greek and Egyptians working together overpowered the villain. It was also fascinating to see that the demigods could embody a god and have the similar effect in battle like the Egyptians.Percy and Annabeth made two new friends in the Kanes that they can count on in times of trouble. I hope we will see them partner again with some of the Heroes of Olympus to fight some great diabolical villain. Maybe Carter Kane won’t be as sidelined.

Percy is Back!!!
You can't go wrong with Percy, Annabeth, Carter and Sadie and this plot brings them all together for the triumphant finish, only I don't think it's really finished, not if Riordan wants to be booed by his millions of fans. The plot is a continuation of the Annabeth and Sadie story and is told from the perspective of Percy Jackson, thank you Riordan for bringing him back to us because I was disappointed with the last Heroes of Olympus story not because it was bad, on the contrary it was an absolute Masterpiece, but the Son of Poseidon, He that began this journey into the Olympian gods and Roman played more of a support warrior, fighter role and wasn't the star. This is Percy's story regardless of great characters and Percy is never a supporting star he is the star; with that said Percy is back telling the story from his perspective which finally brought the fun and excitement of the first series back to me. Carter and Sadie join Annabeth and Percy in a battle against an ancient magician, one that has been played out through all the Mummy Movies, but that doesn't mean it gets old or boring, In fact in this story it is fresh, exciting, funny, adventurous and throws a couple of curves balls that I wouldn't have expected and I promise you neither will you.. Thank you Rick Riordan for bringing the favored Son of Poseidon back.

Amazing
Very good. I would recommend to anyone who likes action and ancient mythologies. There's a kiss here and there, but pretty much no romance. Overall wonderful book, I'm looking forward to reading more of Rick Riordan's books!

Loved it
Beautiful conclusion to Percy meet the Kanes. Was my favourite of the 3 books. Loved the sense of humour in this one.

I love Percy Jackson so much. I re- read all the series on my Kindle every day. I love these books. They made me read all the stories of the Greek gods.

Divertido y fácil de leer
Es un libro muy entretenido para leer. A mis adolescentes les encanta y yo lo disfrute mucho. Eso sí, es muy corto.

Great Story Comes With a sword of summer sneak peak
It was really good to read from Percy's perspective again the blood of Olympus came out so long ago. There is also a sneak peak at The Sword of Summer which was amazing and great because you get to see Annabel again.

The Myth Master did it again all hail Rick Riordan
Roirdan has done it again.Wheter your a Percy Jackson or a Kane fan this book has it all l.In this book Rick ends his crossover trio the way he combines both Greek and Egyption myths (and magic) together is genious.I can wait fir his Norse gods series of book to begin in october this year and I hope at somepoint he does more crossovers hopefully combining all 4 of the myrhologies hes worked with (Greek, Roman, Egyption and Norse [all be it this is only 3 sets of Gods])Its only a short story which is a shame as I wiuld have loved a full lenth cross over story.
