I have extremely fine hair, and the majority of barrettes and clips slide out after a short while. Also, I have been searching for clips with a true, rounded, transparent look of tortoise shell. Hoorah! I’ve found them! And, they don’t pull any hairs when I take them out! I usually look at well known brands first with no luck. This time all I was looking for was tortoise shell, not a known brand. Didn’t know the manufacturer, but wouldn’t lose much if I couldn’t use them. It pays to explore! Great brand!

When it first came, I thought it would be too big. My hair is so thin and fine that nothing that big held before. But, it does. By the end of the day it may have slipped a little but only takes a second to straighten. I love the finish. I haven't had it long enough to test the durability, but I have worn mine every day since I received them and it is doing fine. Besides, I got 12, so if this one wears out, I have 11 more. A great bargain. And now, at 77, I don't have to wear children barrettes!

This may sound odd to those who do not have layered hair or bangs & who do not wear hair clips when wearing a ponytail often, but these faux plastic coated tortoise shell hair clips are soft and comfortable to wear, and they look nice! They do not pull one's hair. They are nice quality and lovely! I have looked for many years to replace my old actual 1970's tortoise shell hair clips & found the plain metal hair clips that are not as good. I have ordered 4 more packets so I'll never run out! This is the 2nd time I’m buying these. I am growing my hair out to a longer length. It is normal thickness but it is fine. Other clips slide out. These don’t. They blend in well with blond and lay flat so they’re comfortable against head rests etcThanks

I love these clips! Work great and very pretty. I wanted dark brown clips but my lame local Walmart only had black. I saw these tortoise shell color ones and really liked them.

Not the strongest, but does what is intended. Does not match blonde shades very well, but better than a dark shade.

The batch I got doesn't rip my hair out when I remove them like a lot of other reviews state. I have thin blonde hair. I would have given five stars however, my favorite clips are a little over 2 inches and tortoise so I was hoping when the description said it was about two inches, that it drifted on the longer side. Unfortunately it does not. It's about 1 and 7/8ths of an inch. Close but I really wanted 2 and 1/8th or thereabouts. Attaching a photo of my old favorite above the new ones that I just got. So close.

They do grip well without feeling tight. Great for thinning hair.

Really good quality and worth every penny, blends in well with my hair couloir and works well, would definitely recommend and buy again.

I do like the clips but I’m afraid to take them out of my hair. As shown in the picture, it’s taken quite a few strands of hairs out! I’ve got thin hair and thinning, so this makes me very unhappy.Does anyone know what I can do to prevent this from happening? I’m too late to return these as I was in hospital, so what to try and make them work for me.

Facile à utiliser, légères, mais solides et ferment parfaitement. Couleur neutre pour une blonde. Ce genre de métal n'aime pas l'humidité, donc ne pas les porter trop longtemps lorsqu'il fait chaud et humide, car la peinture s'écaille et la barrette sent le métal humide, et c'est désagréable!

These are not anywhere close to 5 cm long. I ordered them to replace the 5 cm clips that I currently use. Very disappointed considering the price.

They are pretty light-weight. They work in my daughter's fine hair but are too flimsy for my heavier hair. They just are not substantial enough for average to thick hair.
