AmeriBag15" Leather Crossbody Sling Healthy Back Bag

I read a ton of reviews on these bags before ordering, so I couldn't wait for it to arrive! I've had it for a little over a week and I don't think I will ever have anything other than an AmeriBag Healthy Back bag ever again! I'm already scheming about how to get one in black (Christmas maybe?). The extra small still has lots of room and I wouldn't want anything larger. I love all the compartments for organization, the clean lines, the comfortable adjustable strap and the effortless zippers. I also love that I can reach in this bag without taking it off. It even has a neat little ring inside to attach your keys so you don't lose them. Everything about it is easy and organized. I bought this bag because I have shoulder and neck problems and it does such a good job of evenly distributing the weight on a very comfortable strap, that it hasn't bothered me at all. And, I think it just looks really cool. This is the most I have ever spent on a purse, but the quality and workmanship are so good that I know I will be carrying it for years to come. If you're thinking about buying one, I would urge you to go ahead. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I wasn't sure how this bag would work...and why...but I found out right away. The way the pockets are designed, contents are so well-distributed that I feel like I'm barely carrying a bag. Make sure to take full advantage of the pockets...otherwise, you might as well use a different bag. Cross-body is the most comfortable, but I've worn it like a shoulder bag and it's still wonderful. The leather is incredibly soft (no break-in period) and the red color looks great with my purple coat and anything else. It will stand up, just like in the picture; it will also stay put when placed on its side without falling over. It's very well-made, right down to the zipper pulls (covered in red leather). There is nothing I would change in this bag. I purchased the extra small and it fits the contents of my Coach hobo bag (c 1980) without compromise.

I love this bag; this is the 4th one of these bags I have bought. I have 2 in the microfiber and this is the second leather one I have bought. The microfiber ones are lighter; the leather ones are more upscale. But all have the same pockets and organizational aids. Two are the small bags, which I use for trips because they hold more; the extra small ones are the bags I use for day-to-day. I love all of the pockets!!! Places for everything so I don't have to hunt around the bag trying to find keys or a pen. I use the zippered pockets for important things I don't want to put in my wallet; another pocket is great for carrying small bottles of aspirin, band aids, etc. My keys are always handy using the key fob holder. Places for my pens, an almost secret pocket for carrying things I don't want to lose. My wallet, sunglasses, etc. all fit in the main body, although I could use one of the pockets for my sunglasses, I prefer to keep them in a case. All are big enough for my iPad mini. I highly recommend these bags.

Had one many years ago. Disappointed in the quality.

Got this bag June 2022 and absolutely loved it. Perfect size, design is easy on back, fits all my stuff, and leather is easy to clean. Fast forward to sept 2024 and the zipper to the main compartment is broken so I can’t use the purse. For the cost, I expected it to last longer.

I love AmeriBag Healthy Back Bag. I have used one years ago and recently I brought it back out and love love love it. It has so many pockets and places to store everything. I want my handbag organized. And it is still comfortable to carry and wear. Even when Hubby gives me his wallet and phone to carry when he doesn't want to. I got this in leather as Christmas present to myself. I had been carrying the microfiber. This Chestnut leather bag is beautiful. And just as organized and easy to carry. It will look even better when it is broken in a little, it is still new and stiff right now. I love it. I bought here on Amazon as I was able to use my points from my credit card and reduce the pain in my wallet. But I no longer need to look at handbags in any store or online. I am done!! I have the right one forever. If you are on the fence, buy it! You will not regret it.

I love this bag!!! It's perfect for all my day-to-day items. Lots of pockets and a place for everything. The key hook is a nice plus. It is a supple leather that seems to be of good quality. It's amazing how it lightens the load. Hang the bag from your hand and you'll feel the weight. But put in on your shoulder and it's surprisingly light. I almost forgot I was carrying it a few times. It has not slipped off my shoulder once. The strap is nearly 1.5" wide so it doesn't dig into your shoulder. I do NOT miss any of my other bags and will carry this one everywhere.Ameribag is located in NY, but I had a difficult time trying to find out where it is actually manufactured. I zoomed in on all the photos I could find on several web sites and saw several different tags: Made in USA, Made in China, and Made in Taiwan (I think). Unfortunately, mine is made in China. Disappointing.All in all, it's a great bag and I'm glad I have it. I'll probably get the mini baglett version. I would give the product a strong 5 stars IF it were Made in USA.If you go to the manufacturer's web site, they have the dimensions and pictures of models carrying the various size bags!!
