This fireplace fit my rough opening down to the half inch. It was so close I was nervous it wouldn't fit but it looks made for it.There are others at this price point but this one had more color options from the description. I took a chance on a brand I've never heard of and felt like I paid a little more.It feels well built. It's a great size. The color options for back drop and logs we're impressive from warm to cool colors. The dimmer/brightness settings were great. You can really set the mood. It also has adjustable flame speeds to mimic real flames or something more calming.The lights in the upper right hand are always on. It doesn't bother me much but it may bother others. You could put black electrical tape over them if you care that much.It makes a very quiet, low noise when in operation, with or without heat. I only noticed it when the room was dead quiet. Again, though, I'm not very fussy.Overall, I'm very happy. Fits perfectly, lots of options. What's not to like?

Liked the ease of install. Looks great.Down side is it hums when it's being used, like pretty loud. It's a bit obnoxious. It sounds like a plane is constantly flying over the house.When it's turned off it also rings a bit. Like a diode is ringing.The lights can't be off on the switch panel and the stupid beeps every time you push a button. Makes me want to drop kick a Llama every time I go to push a button.

The customer service representative was very patient with me as I had numerous questions prior to purchase. When I finally ordered the XBeauty 30 it was delivered a week early. I would give the company 10 stars if possible. :-)

When I bought this fireplace, I was nervous and skeptical that the fireplace insert would not fit in my rough opening. However, it was actually a pretty loose fit. To ensure you have a good and snug fit, be sure to make your rough opening 1/4 inch smaller on both the Height and Width dimensions. This will allow you ample space to screw the lip on the fireplace to whatever case you are attaching the fireplace to. (Brick chimney, wood tv stand, etc.) Because my rough opening in my tv stand was too big, I wasn’t able to screw my screws straight into my wood frame. InsteadC I had to screw at an angle and barely had enough room to attach the fireplace to my wood framebecause my rough opening was 1/4 too big on both sides.Again, just be sure to make your rough opening 1/4 inch smaller than the recessed dimensions listed on the details above. If you do that, the fireplace will be a direct perfect fit! Otherwise, great fireplace and happy with the purchase

Beautiful product. Overall happy, but with two negatives: first, the motor running the light display was quite, but now generates a low hum. Second, the brick overlay inside the fireplace has begun to bubble and peal off.

Being an electric fireplace, I was skeptical it would heat well but it did not disappoint. It heats the room well and is great to enjoy on a cold winters’ night, without all the mess and smell of a wood burning fireplace or danger of a gas fireplace. Would definitely buy again. Great company!

We had purchased a different brand several years ago. It did not heat well and the look was ridiculous according to our daughter. So we purchased this brand and love it! The heating vents are on the front and so it actually pushes out heat. Love it!

Super fast shipping. No assembly was required. Well made, easy to understand and use controls - both on the remote and on the front of the unit. Nice heat output (though I did not run it very long since I am testing this feature during the heat of summer). Good selection of flame and log bed colors. I am very pleased with this unit.
