A bit difficult to use in rough water. Couldn't see the screen, especially through my face mask, so had to guess what I was aiming at. Does make a sound when taking a picture, but this was difficult to hear.Camera switches off after a preset period of inactivity, and mine was set to 1 minute when I got it. Easy to exceed this time when swimming around looking for fish. So when snorkeling I didn't realise it had switched off, and I continued to use, but obviously was not taking pictures. After realising this I chengdu to 5 minutes (the maximum) and it works better.If careful, pictures taken under water and in air are all of acceptable quality.

Good sized camera easy to see the screen under water. Takes fab pictures on land air etc but the light seems to suffer under water. If you are in shallow water it takes lovely photos if you want to take photos of the bottom of a reef way below you it struggles. Great for close ups really easy to use and in shallow good under water light lovely pics though great for kids and people not taking deep photos

Great little Camera, I wanted a waterproof camera so I could take it out and about in boats egg and not worry. Was sceptical when I first used it as the screen isn't great for viewing the photos - I thought they wpuld all be rubbish quality but when I put them on the laptop they look great! Easy to use but I didn't chabge the setting so all my pictures downloaded with date and time stamps- I know for next time! Haven't used under water yet but had proved to be a good dry camera so far. Attached are photos I took on my recent trip to Slovenia using the camera.

Not great photo quality but expected for the price. Good for in a pool if you just want a few low quality memories

Poor underwater camera. Buttons not easy to use and poor picture quality.

Does what I want it for.

I have only just received this camera, after reading the great reviews. The battery has now been on charge all evening and the red light is still flashing. I've read that the battery should only take 4 hours to charge! This is such a disappointment
