Beautiful
I choose this manga because I thought the front drawing was really cute, and the description was interesting. I was looking for a love boys manga that was cute, not overly sexual. I read it all in 1 night, the story and specially the characters clicked instantly with me. I would recommend this book to any romantic boy that’s looking for a story focused on something that has happen to all of us: a platonic crush.

Very cute
This is a really lovely story. It makes me think of the development of BL manga over the years, back when Tokyo Pop was the biggest manga distributor in the US. The style is like a modernized take on early 90s styles of manga, like you'd see drawn by Rumiko Takahashi. The characters are sweet but they're more than hollow archetypes. You really feel for poor Nakamura and want to see him make some progress with Hirose, and even just interact with others. It's a fun and light read so definitely pick it up.

It's Not For Me
The book came in perfect condition, so this review isn't about the physical book, but more the content. The story is drawn in a very old, more traditional manga style. If I had to compare, think Ranma 1/2. For me, that's kind of a turn off. Secondly, I found the story boring. Oh so boring. The events are episodic, which is usually fine, but nothing happens. The character spends the whole book embarrassing himself and falling over himself, and talking about how he's gay. Now, there's nothing wrong with that, but I prefer my protagonists to not be constantly telling me, the reader, that they are a gay man. I know that. It's why I picked up the book in the first place. I understand that this book is rated T, and that it's meant for a young audience, but c'mon now. This reads worse than some romance shoujo and that's pretty bad. I can't enjoy a story where the character is always making a fool of themselves, especially in the unfunniest ways. Not to mention that we learn basically NOTHING about the characters, or their families, or even their other friends. I know that it can be difficult in one or two shot manga, but it felt like the author didn't even try; it felt like Nakamura's ONLY purpose was to be a gay high school student. Unfortunately, I don't believe I'll be picking up volume 2 of this series any time soon.

Super cute BL manga
Super cute rom-com book! I will say there isn’t much “spice” in this book. It mainly focus on nakamura having a crush.

The Awkward Age
Ever fallen -- I mean really fallen -- for someone totally out of your league? If so, you'll understand the achingly funny appeal of GO FOR IT, NAKAMURA!, a one-off manga written and drawn by Syundei (a long-awaited sequel is slated for 2022). Maybe you were never like Nakamura -- a closeted, socially inept gay teenager who finds it easier to talk to his pet octopus than to other people -- but it's easy to sympathize with him, seeing him obsessed with a cute boy in his class. Hirose is outgoing, athletic, popular, and barely aware that Nakamura exists, and for all the confident smooth talk in the timid Nakamura's imagination, his pathetic RL attempts to get close to Hirose invariably end in public humiliation.Maybe this is one of those comics best appreciated by those who've been there, but who hasn't been there? The author never even bothers to inform us what Hirose's sexual orientation is, not that it matters. This manga isn't about romance, it's about the fact that even a loser like Nakamura doesn't have to be alone. Love and friendship are wherever you make room for them to grow. Don't let me downplay Syundei's drawings: they are hilarious.

Good story!
It's really cute! I've read it a few times over! I hope the author writes more, even if they don't thus is still a great oneshot!

Relatable
Really funny, full of gay panic and just regular high school awkwardness. Very sweet and innocent, fun for the whole family.

Classic school love
I read this awhile ago online, I loved it then and I love it now. The only thing bad about this is how short it is,when I read it online I thought it had just not been translated yet but no, I had read the full thing. This has a classic 80's manga feel, even down to the way characters hair is all fluffy and just...yeah. The story is well done and I genuinely felt connected to our shy protagonist, Nakamura. He's a boy in love and even the simplest thing like being close to his crush makes him happy. It's a cute and fun manga and even the main teacher is likeable.Don't expect a deep story as it's short and to be honest it doesn't need the usual angst to get it's point across.I loved this and would recommend to anyone who loves gentle BL and was a fan of Ranma 1/2 back in the day. I really want a second volume, even just focusing on the teacher as he's one cool guy , he's like a calm and collected Nube (If you've watched Hell teacher Nube then you know what I'm on about.) and it's nice to see his interactions with everyone.I really recommend this one. It's charming and fun, with an 80's flare that's well done. The characters interactions seem natural and it's just nice to see something like this after so long. I'm glad it's officially out and I can add it to my collection.

Best Male Gay Manga
I’ve never read a boys love manga or seen many that don’t feel like it’s fetishisation of homosexuality but this feels very real and even sub-verges the fetishising in funny ways. It’s funny, sweet, wholesome and connects to you, no matter your sexuality. I really hope they’re are more volumes to read and I hope Nakamura gets the love story he deserves

The cutest manga
This manga was so cute and wholesome, as a member of the lgbt I felt like the main character was quite relatable. It's also great representation of lgbt, especially for a manga, if you have the time definitely pick it up, it's a good and fun read <3

Lovely sweet manga
I loved the book, the main character is nice and dorky and I just found the chemistry between the characters cute and the 90s art style is pretty cool, only problem is that mine came with a small bend and something sticky was on it which ruined it but I was able to deal with it
