15" for the 2005 instead of 16"
I see why there are so many opposing reviews. Per the advise of some, I went for the 15" instead of the 16" for my 2005 CRV. The fit is really good. I think with 16" the back of the wheel would have been covered fully, proviided you could stretch and cover that is. The 15" works just as well. You have to stretch well and given it is winter, it was a bit tough. Nonetheless, it fit very well, looks like a well made cover with good materials.

Great replacement cover at a great price
I have 14" tires on my 2002 CRV and I ordered the 15" cover, it fits well and wraps around back of spare when completely installed. It is not the rigid back high quality of the original but it looks great and is very durable.

Oversized.
The tire size I have is 16". After reading several reviews saying the cover runs large, I ordered a size smaller, 15". It seems very close to perfect...perhaps 5% too big.One thing I did not notice in the pictures is that there is a 1/4" seam that runs around circumference of the cover. It is only visible up close.The logo is clear and neat. I am satisfied, considering the affordable price.

Spare tire bliss
my old tire cover was rotten from the sun I was so happy to find a new one on Amazon and the price was terrific, I should have gotten one smaller size but I love it...

Waste of money and effort
Seemed to fit fine on wife’s 2004 HONDA CR-V. I followed all the figment suggestions and guidance when I ordered it. The wife commutes 45 minutes each way on the highway to work. She came home one day and it was gone. It flew off on the way home and she never heard it or saw it fly off. She looked for it Everyday for a while and still no sign of it. It lasted about 45-60 days. A little past the return window, although I’m not sure how I would return a defective item that flew away in the wind.

Loose and Baggy
Do not like this pruduct as much as I wanted too Tire on the CRV is 15 inch and cover looks to fit a 16 inch rim. Fits very loose and baggy. Material is very good, reasons for a 3 star.

Spare tire cover
Does not fit snug. It gaps everywhere making it look like it is too big for the wheel.

You get what you pay for.
It looks good it just isnt made very well.It's all in the price it was the cheapest one and now I know why. It works fine but I wont buy it again bought a more expensive $50 cover and was happier with the results.
