Nice Plasma cutter for the money
Nice Plasma cutter for the money. I would buy it again! Not for commercial uses, but light uses it works great.

Steer Clear of This Third Rate Trash!
Steer clear of these plasma cutters! There junk and on top of that Northern Tool sticks other model welders in boxes labeled as something else!I bought and paid for a 375i but only got a box that said "375i" but a 275i was in the box. To make matters worse, the plasma cutter failed after only cutting less than 36"! A pressure relief valve or hose came loose inside and proceeded to dump all the air inside the enclosure making it a useless paper weight in less than 20 minutes after remove it from the box! When it worked, it didn't work all the well, and struggled to cut 1/8" steel even though it is rated for 5/32" and onto top of that is repeatedly kicked the breaker! So if you plan on getting a 275i version to use with a normal 20amp 120V outlet, you can forget that idea! This is the second time I've bought sometime other than Lincoln and have been burned! Both times I've had the product fail in less than a day so I guess the saying is true. You get what you pay for and the Klutch plasma cutters are even worse than the Campbell Hausfled mig welders!Do yourself a favor a buy a quality machine rather than trying to cheap out and save a few dollars because after its said and done your just creating more work and a headache for yourself by buying this third rate garbage!

Decent unit but their are better machines at a lower price out here.
I bought my 375 from a place called Radco which sells items that northern tool sells and it has worked quite well for me considering a never read the manual or used one of these prior. THe unit has a very long torch head or lead which helps big time, I suggest cleaning the steel prior to using it as it just works easier that way. What I did not like about my machine is that the cuts are not straight thru the metal, It seems to always cut at an angle like you are titling the torch when cutting which I was not doing. I just bought more consumables to see if this corrects the problem otherwise I may have to purchase a different torch or even a different machine depending on which comes out cheaper for me. The machine does a good job otherwise and my use should not be construed as normal as its most likely something I did wrong. I suggest buying extra consumables in advance and a standoff tool for the torch head as mine did not come with any for some reason. That standoff or spacer tip will save on your consumables and also help in obtaining straighter cleaner cuts! I bought my machine before the Klutch name came into play but its the same unit as these are, mines a northern tool version. I now see many other units out here that will do the same jobs at a much lower cost now. If you ever had to replace the torch on this machine they are very high priced whereas other units are much cheaper to replace so think about that before buying one, same thing for the consumables. As to if this machine will cut the thicknesses they claim, When I tried to cut thru 1/2 steel it (the machine) struggled and was a messy job!

Proven worth the purchase!
I have had one of these plasma cutters for over 2 years and have never had one second of problems. Northern Tool stands behind these 100%. When I first got mine I thought it was bad out of the box, so I called the 800 number on the machine and the tech was a real person with knowledge. The problem was in my wall plug, It had a burnt leg on one side only allowing 110volt. But up front the tech said if we couldn't get it to work to my satisfaction I could take it back and get another or a refund. I have worked this machine hard several times on 8ft 1/4 inch cuts. How about a 31/2 year update: 6-19-17 now, The 375I cutter is very alive and well. No problems with the main unit or genuine Trafimet s45 torch. I have taken the case off twice over the years now and blown the dust out of the unit. Seems to very solid reliable unit. As another said the torches are more expensive, there is a reason for that, Italian quality built.

Don't know why i didn't purchase one of these units a long time ago!
This is a great Plasma cutter! works well and has a great price. We have found it to be invaluable for saving time on all our fabrication projects.I highly recommend this unit to anyone wanting to cut various materials quickly.
