Printronic Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement for HP 74 CB335WN (4 Black)

I have now purchased two sets of ink cartridges from OCProducts and this product, at best, is ok. The reason for this statement is that you might get to refill them, if you choose, but you will eventually (refill or not) get printer messages that state, "incompatible cartridge" or "cartridge incorrectly installed" at which you will have to throw the cartridge away, seeing that it will no longer work with your computer.On the plus side, spending about $3.50 per refilled cartridge is a pretty good deal. Ink didn't smear on me when used and the color maintained it's integrity on a regular basis, until "incompatible" or "...incorrectly" taught me that it was time to throw this cartridge away and install another.

The ink itself was fine. It didn't smear; dried quickly. The price was really great. But since the ink is in a remanufactured cartridge, it caused problems for my printer. Everytime I had to load a new cartridge into my printer, it took forever because the cartridge wasn't accepted. I would have to go through 30 minutes of failed alignments, etc. It got to the point where I decided that the financial savings wasn't worth the headache. I do a lot of printing and the aggravation wasn't worth the dollars saved.

This is the second time that I am rating this product. I was so upset that these ink cartridges didn't work for my printer for some reason. So I gave a bad review at the first time. Then when OPC product saw my review, they contacted me and refund half of the price for me. Even though it didn't work for me, their service was good. I will buy other products from this company.

My HP printer accepts these cartridges without any problems at all. Although I have never really made a comparison to see if they last as long as HP cartridges, it seems as if they do. Even if they don't last as long, there is not a big difference that I can see. Either way, these are very reasonably priced when compared to the HP ink cartridges and I do not see any difference in print quality. I recommend giving them a try.

PUT 1ST CARTRIDGE IN.WORKED O.K. FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS, THEN ONE DAY(I HAD ALREADY MADE SEVERAL COPIES)I TRIED TO MAKE A COPY & MY PRINTER GAVE ME AN ERROR NOTICE. IT SAID "THE CARTRIDGE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THIS PRINTER".I TOOK IT OUT, PUT BACK IN, TURNED OFF PRINTER & RESTARTED, ETC.STILL WOULDN'T WORK.HAD TO PULL OUT & PUT ANOTHER IN OUT OF THE 4 PACK I BOUGHT.IT'S WORKING SO FAR(FOR ABOUT 3 DAYS NOW).

The ink cartridges were delivered on time. I have the HP c4280 all in one printer.Out of the 4 none have worked. The first did not distribute ink unevenly (only every other line)such that I could not even get the align page to print correctly.The second cartridge stated that it was a previously used cartridge and would not function at all... I called amazon and asked that they provide me the contact information to the seller so that I could discuss my difficulties with them. Amazon informed me that I could not as there is no phone # listed. Really disappointed.

Purchased this four pack of black ink cartridges for a HP OfficeJet J6480 printer. The price was much better than purchasing the HP version, and the quality is good. The only problem(a small one) is that the printer software won't tell you how much ink you have left.

I will update this review as I use more of the cartridges. I also got the unrecognizable cartridge error, but was getting it with the color cartridges not the HP74 black. I simply had to remove the cartridges and put them back in. Its an HP error that has nothing to do with the cartridge. Maybe there is some other problem that Ill notice in the future but so far, this is an amazing deal.
