I've installed batteries, set the timer, put timer & lights in a pretty jar & that's it! It comes on every evening. Several modes for your lights

So the timer word great and easy to use with many light options. They last about a week then dim for another week on a set of batteries and you’ll need to put the box in a ziploc bag as the battery pack is not waterproof. I used them to light my fake plants for the holidays and went thru two sets of batteries in four weeks. They are pretty but they get dimmer and dimmer over time.

Three out of the four units work great. They are bright, the timer works and the settings work. One unit works, but the controls don't. It turns on, but I can't change it to steady light function. Don't know how to request a single unit replacement. The others are perfect and lighting my hearth garland and wreaths... Still would recommend buying. Just disappointed one is not 100% operational. The ones that are working correctly are fantastic.

In the product summary, it lists the Control Method as remote, so I fully expected that they would come with remotes but they do not. I purchased these to use in places where reaching the controller was difficult and the remote was a necessary feature. Since they have no remote included they do not meet my needs. They are nice enough but not having the remote is a deal breaker for me. Without it, to get to the mode that you want, you need to toggle through all 8 settings (and the 8th one is steady on - which I venture to say might be the most commonly used one) each time you turn them on. To save on battery life, I prefer not to use the timer feature. I am returning these and have purchased others that have all of the features of these but include remotes.

I bought enough sets for all my wreaths on my windows. I turned them on Dec 1st and kept them up until mid January when the lights finally started dying. I'm glad I purchased. I also used good batteries don't put cheap ones in there.
