Ethical 5703 Skinneeez Spotted Deer Stuffing-Less Dog Toy, 23-Inch

I have two dogs, and my experience with each was a little different. My hound is not a destroyer of toys. She mouths them and goes nuts for the squeak, but never rips into her things. For her, this toy was perfect. She loves to carry it around, lay with it, and just generally bit on the head. My second dog, a terrier, rips toys to shreds. She didn't attack the body of this toy and I am guessing that this is because it's not full of stuffing or beads. She did, however, still go after the head and was determined to try and dig out the squeaker. She's not a big dog but she's even demolished the Kong toys, so I can't fault this toy too much for succumbing to her teeth. This is not a toy for an aggressive chewer, but it's a great one for those who don't feel the need to find the source of the fun noise.

My seven month old cocker spaniel loves all the stuffing-less toys. I can't say they stay last a very long time (at least not in one piece) but she carries the "rag" around log after the limbs are gone. Be sure to supervise play and watch for amputations. My pup could destroy an anvil so I have to take that into consideration.

My dog can typically destroy a plush toy in under 5 minutes. These ducks are surprisingly sturdy for being made of fabric. The last one we had lasted about a week before I had to throw it away because it was reduced to ribbons. She LOVES these so much. She will run around the house carrying it in her mouth and shake it so it squeaks. If I try to take it away she goes absolutely bananas. It's so cute to watch! The stuffing is actually completely water soluble and dissolves if wet, so is perfectly safe in case she tries to eat it. The squeaker in the head is actually not a real squeaker, but just a tube that makes a noise because of air blowing in and out when compressed. Kudos to the manufacturer! We'll be buying more!

I got this because it's stuffing-less. My 3-year old Golden Retriever is a power chewer and will immediately go to town on any stuffed animals. (He will NOT chew on any "hard" toys, go figure, that little punk!) Even though my Golden ripped out the squeaker and tore off a wing within 20 minutes, he still likes to carry around the carcass, so I consider this toy to be completely acceptable.

Because one Ethical Stuffingless toy is pretty much the same as another, this is a repeat of my other Ethical Skinneeez reviews.I love the stuffingless dog toys, but more importantly, my pooch loves them, too. He chews on them and loves to carry them around, but doesn't destroy them. (He did tear the rabbit toy in places but it's not terminal.)I have no real tips: Either your dog(s) will love them and not destroy them, or they won't. But the price is reasonable, and it may be worth it to see how your dog does with them.

I'm amazed at how tough these have actually proven to be. My two dogs (50lb boxer and 35lb Doxy-Beagle) have been playing with this thing quite a bit, running around the house and even playing tug of war.To this point, no tears or anything. Which is amazing because even the "IMMORTAL UNBREAKABLE UNCHEWABLE DOG TOYS" I've bought in the past have been ripped up in mere hours. Let alone the ones filled with the plastic beads which I will invariably find all over my house after getting the dogs a new toy.Happy with it and so are they!

Our Spaniel loves this. It is one of the "unstuffed" type of soft toy which seems popular with both our dog, and the animals of friends of ours.The squeak only lasted about a day and a half, though: she found it and chewed it until she got it out! Pity as it was a great Goosey sound!Very happy, as if our dog is happy, we are, too.

My 1 and a half year old yorkie has the racoon of these skinneeez toys. She loves the deer, it has been about a months now since she has been playing with it everyday...we sometimes play tag with it and it has lasted!!!!! It's one of her favourite toys!

My 2 dogs love these skinneeez products and the two I ordered arrived very quickly. Other than giving them indestructible bones, they have lots of these skineeez as they don't have stuffing in. The carry them around and take them to bed.
