Marvel Masterwork Pin-ups

Purchased as a gift for my brother. A comic fan. He was delighted.

What a treat this book is! It is a collection of full-page 9" x 12" repros of most (if not all) of the 1960s Marvel super-hero pinups that most of us older collectors know and love so well! Included, naturally, are the bad-guy pinups from the first 2 Fantastic Four and Spider-Man annuals, as well as the Inhumans pinups from a later FF annual, Thor, Sgt. Fury, and a ton of other various and sundry pinups from the pages of Daredevil, the Avengers, the X-Men, and even Don Heck's Pepper Potts pinup from Iron Man. John Byrne's Fantastic Four pinups are also included, as well as Barry Smith's Medusa, Bill Everett's Sub-Mariner, and many others. How cool to have all of these vintage beauties collected together under one cover, over-sized, and on good paper. They've never looked so good. Thanks, Craig Yoe, IDW and Marvel! If there are any more to be had, let's have a second volume!

Super great, very best pin up imges by the greats that were inside the original comic back in the day.Much better than anything Marvel would have done now. Better than any of their present day poster books!Kirby! Ditko! and more! Heroes and villains. Inhumans too.

If you are a fan of 60s Marvel, this is an essential book! It's wonderful to have all these amazing pin-ups in one hardcover volume. Buy it today, and tell a friend!!!!

This is the best presentation I have ever seen of this material (and I have seen a lot). The dimensions are BIG (much bigger than even the Marvel Omnibus line), the paper is uncoated creamy (which makes the colors less garish than in the Masterworks), solid sewn binding, and beautifully produced. A MUST!!!!!!! A++++

Great illustrations but the book was missing many other pin-ups from the silver age. I could have done without the black and white (original art) versions, the aforementioned missing pin-ups would have been nicer to have instead.
