This is an amazing product and and exactly what I have been looking for. High quality feel. There is a dim illumination around the focused light beam that allows you to see the pupil in dark eyes before triggering a pupillary response.

I like that the penlight has a warmer color that is not as jarring to patients when looking into their eyes, as many other brands use a harsh white bulb. Also, the intensity of the light is consistent, instead of brighter in the middle and dimmer at the edges of the light field like many other options. Worth the extra few dollars of investment since it seems this is the only penlight I'll need. Also seems like good build quality, I've wiped it with clinical sanitizing wipes without a problem.

I'm an airline cabin crew member and needed a pen light for late night flights where we turn the lights down quite low after takeoff but still have a beverage service to do in main cabin. I had one that, although it was small, was far too bright when I would click it on to look inside the cart. It was a bright LED and lit up the surrounding area like a UFO attack. Finally occurred to me to buy this type of medical pen light and I couldn't be happier. The light is a warm soft yellow, and it only lights up whatever small area I need. This particular model is incredibly well built so it should last for years. Could not be happier with this purchase!

I would have to say that this gets used atleast once a shift, or sometimes more. And is quite nice to have on me, instead of searching bags looking for one.It's shape sits well in ems pants or pen pockets on uniform shirts, and it's clip secures it quite well until use (meaning it doesn't hold so tight it is rendered inaccessible). The light is also not difficult to hold in any weather condition.Although the light is led, it's warm and soft enough to not blind patients. Or make them run as if the police are shining down terror. But bright enough it can be used as a flashlight if needed. And like the description says, there is no black dot in the center or need to focus the beam. Rhe light does start to dim when you're getting closer to needing a battery change. But that isn't much of an issue as it is more of a helpful indication.As far as durability, this has been dropped, sat on, pinched, wedged, you name it. Still holds up in its original form.I have to say, it's a nice diagnostic tool to have of you when you need it.

great penlight for medical professionals. easy on the patients eyes and good craftsmanship. just wish the diameter of the light could be adjusted (made smaller)

I have always used the “white” lights. I am trying this to see if it is better. As of now, I do like the light color….but I suggest you carry it in your shirt pocket as the clip is not huge to carry it in my back pocket…..however, it is a good light. This is a very good and quality product. The price is very fair. I recommend it….

Great, solid, focused beam of soft light to examine pupillary reaction and quality. I especially appreciate the lessened glare. Works well for me in the ICU!
