Electrical Fish Tape Case Wire Puller with 2pcs Fastener tool 4.3mm x 82 Feet

I'm a electrician who worked with fish tape's for I don't know how long...Worked 99% of the time with steel tape's, when you just can't get through a pipe, and you're lucky enough to have a fiber glass tape, you can get it, sometimes, with that one. just a few days ago I couldn't get it with with the finer glass tape, so in my frustration I went to Amazon and found this one, ordered it, came back to work today and got this through like it was nothing!!!I feel like break dancing!!!

Also having a small head on the fish tape it's much better for getting around cables in conduit it's so small that when you reel it all the way back in it goes inside the case and you have to take the whole thing apart to get it out so you have to be really careful not to wind the whole fish tape inside the reel. The head doesn't swivel it's in a fixed position how's all it does wobble it doesn't swivel so it makes it kind of difficult getting through corners. Overall I guess it works pretty good for the price.

When you uncoil it it has a strong curve in the wire compared to most fish tape that will uncoil straight. This will work in short run situations but over long distances the kink or curve impacts its use. Other issue is there is no stop to prevent the lead from being wound up and inaccessible. Has to be taken apart to retrieve it.

If you are not fishing a line through conduit it is worthless. I broke my fish tape and I bought a replacement one. I needed to use it again and it is not ridged and will not fish through an open space. This is only good for conduit I think, I have not tried that so it may not work for that either. Sad that I can return now that I tried it but I guess that is on me.

Only got about 10' before it started binding up at a 45 degree turn in a 4" conduit. I needed 75' of push and didn't even get close. There's no way this thing could ever fish 100' horizontally.

I’m a professional installer and I’ve used (and lost!) many non-metal fish tapes. After I lost my $100.00 fiberglass fish tape I shopped around and reluctantly bought this unit because I thought the price was too cheap. I was pleasantly surprised when I used this fish tape on a job and it performed well.I’d buy this again in a heartbeat.

Didn't work on 1/2 " pvc.

The metal end that is crimped onto the fish tape came off during the first use. Nothing broke, the metal end simply pulled off. Waiting for the manufacturer response to my request to return the defective tool for a refund. will follow up with the results.I wrote this review and requested a refund from the manufacturer 6 weeks ago. Did not even get a response from them. DO NOT BUY THIS CHEAP TOOL!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU DO...
