Great for relaxation

This essential oil smells incredible! It's so relaxing (without putting me to sleep), and I love putting it in my diffuser in the evenings while my husband and I relax after dinner. It's concentrated enough that you only need a couple of drops to cover a large room. Sometimes, I rub a drop between my wrists to enjoy throughout the day. This is a high-quality essential oil blend at a much better value than the two brands I see most often at yoga studios and spas (plus - unlike those other two - this brand doesn't rely on an MLM model for its sales, which I also appreciate). This Tranquility blend is my favorite so far, but I also enjoy others from Rocky Mountain Oils (Aligning, in particular, is another favorite that I love using in my office while I work). Don't sleep on this brand or this blend - they're both fantastic!

As a man in my early 70s, I struggle to get good quality sleep. One of the negative influences to an individual's sleep is that the bedroom can become a dreaded place when you anticipate another bad night of sleep. There are many comments in sleep articles that mention that the bedroom should be a place where you feel comfortable and not stressed out. The path toward this can be a variety of ways and although I typically do not like lingering odors, there are a few that are pleasant so I thought I would give this a try, particularly since some of these oils are suggested to reduce stress and enhance sleep. What I found with other brands was that most combination oils mixed specifically to do a certain thing were not pleasant to me at all. I would usually have to go with specific individual oil in order to find something pleasant to smell. This oil from RMO was different and had a pleasant smell to me as did the others that I have gotten from them. I'm betting this has to do with the quality of the oil. If you have a diffuser, try a few different oils and see if there is one that you like and allows you to relax. You may find that it isn't even one normally recommended to help you relax or sleep. But if it helps, isn't that good? Who's to say what will work for you. I chose Rocky Mountain Oils because of other reviews here at Amazon and am completely satisfied with the results. NON-RETURNABLE and smells like citrus scented cleaning solution. Rather than helping a family member sleep, this woke them up, thinking the house was being cleaned. When you sniff it, highly concentrated from the bottle, it does smell wonderful, but the odor from a diffuser or several drops in a container of hot water, screams cleaning solution. It feels like a bad purchase. To mimic this product, we can simply mop our floors.

This stuff actually works! My husband and I both sleep like a rock when we run this in our bedroom diffuser at night. I ran it for the first few nights and then didn’t run it for about a week. When I ran it again we both slept better and woke up less throughout the night. This is definitely an oil I’ll keep on hand. The smell isn’t my favorite to diffuse but it is pleasant.

The oil has plenty of scent but is not one of my favorites to smell, and I can not tell that it has any 'relaxing' influence on me to help me sleep. I am new to oil diffusing, and will give this one multiple tries to adjust to it. Perhaps it will grow on me. I'm trying my 4th night today. This is highly ranked on the RMO website. YMMV.

You can always count on high quality oils from Rocky Mountain Oils (RMO). I used to only use Young Living oils, but since discovering RMO, most of my oils now come from them. This is one of my favorite blends for diffusing to relax after a long day. There is no carrier oil in this blend so I don't have to clean my diffuser as often as I would if it did contain a carrier oil. It has the most wonderful aroma, sure to please everyone. I highly recommend this blend.
