Saw this notebook on The Good Wife. Researched what brand it was and bought it asap. It is a great little notebook. I know some haven't loved the paper but I do. And I am picky about pens and paper. This is great for keeping up with the random events of my day and for journaling at the same time. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking to journal and wants to be able to easily carry it with them.

This pocket journal is the perfect size. The bright color makes it easy to find in a bag or where ever I might have left it. The paper is a nice heavy weight. I like writing in it with all different kinds of pens, pencils and felt tip markers. Mechanical pencils are my favorite in this book. The book mark is great, I use it all the time. The elastic that holds it shut is another great feature that makes this notebook my true favorite of all time.

Inspired by adebanji alade, my goal is to to use this as an observation sketchbook . The measurements are smaller from what i initially expected, the cover is very nice but easily bended, the paper quality is mediocre. I expected this to be a good alternate to buying moleskine. If you want a size bigger, just buy moleskine , itll be worth it. Im adding pictures to help anyone else who wants to buy this. Compared to an iphone 5, dont let the picture fool you, its not much bigger

perfect for what I need, great color, smooth paper perfect for pen doodles. I like that there is also a little pocket in the back cover since I like to carry this on hikes and often find little leaves and stuff that I can put in the pocket. Good fun, great journal.

To refer to the review criticizing this notebook's inability to handle watercolors, well, yeah, of course it's not going to handle watercolors well. It's advertised as a drawing book, not a watercolor book, and 90lb watercolor paper isn't even very good for watercolor despite being marketed for such use. If you use it for what it's meant for, it's great. I love this book. It handles pens and pencils really well, with a smooth tooth that's good for detailed graphite drawings. It works well as a journal and a sketchbook, and there's a little folder in the back to hold onto those little scraps you might collect. The only criticism I have is that it can be a little stiff and difficult to keep open, but the fact that it's a soft cover book kind of helps

DO NOT ORDER THESE TRAVEL JOURNALS BY PENTALLIC! I ordered a dozen of them for classes this year. ALL HAVE PROP 65 DANGER WARNINGS on them, but the listings on Amazon do NOT Tell you this. They all smell horrible like strong glue or toxic chemicals that make your eyes sting and your skin burn. I am returning every one of them. BUYER BEWARE!!

Paper did not bleed when writing with calligraphy pens.

This is my favourite travel sketchbook. I bring it everywhere, and it even fits inside some of my pencil bags along with a selection of pens/pencils. It handles ink very well; no bleed through to the next page ever.

I am disappointed because I didn't get the size I was expecting. I have one already and I love it. I guess I got confused with the sizing. It's my mistake but disappointing all the same. Hint: double check your sizing!

I first bought one of these for a pocket sketchbook. I didn't like it for that because it won't lie flat. However. the paper is high quality and can be used on both sides without show-through in either pencil or ink. I usually buy the dotted ones now for bullet journals. I forgot to ask for dots when I ordered this one, but it still works well for the journal. It will open flat enough for drawing lines with a ruler while seated at a table. It 's just awkward for holding while sketching, so only four stars.

Buen tamaño y color muy atractivo, aunque no recomiendo su uso con pluma fuente pues el papel no es tan amigable con las plumillas y a veces hace que se "brinque" parte de los trazos de las letras (esto, probado con una Pilot Metropolitan en F, una Lamy al-star en M y 1.5, y una Jinhao X750 en F). Con un Sharpie Pen no hubo ningún problema y la escritura luce muy bien. El material de la portada no es muy duradero, llevo mi libreta en la bolsa trasera del pantalón y en quince días ya hay zonas que están decolorandose. Espero que mi opinión sea útil, muchas gracias por leerme.
