I used this tape to wrap the wheels of my 1970 MGB. The tape protects the inner tube from the ends of the spokes where they attach to the wheel to prevent abrasion and wear.

Tape definitely did not work on black plastic water line for in ground sprinkler pipe. Seemed like old tape as the adhesive was being left on vinyl top as I unrolled. Not worth sending back, just disappointed and want to warn anyone trying to repair sprinkler pipe to get something else.

The adhesive is weaker than I'd like, but that's probably to keep the adhesive from cracking and weakening the plastic materials that I use it on. It's a great value-for-the-money choice when you need a thicker PVC wrap tape. We use it to cover hose clamps to keep heavy hoses from damaging themselves when coiled together.

This tape is top-notch, and the price was too good to be true. The tape is very thick and stickly - perfect for underground low pressure use.
