Great Product and Great Value
OK, I have to be honest and say that I first purchased a competitor's product that was the same price and half the size as this, foolishly thinking that the size wouldn't make up for the quality. Boy, was I wrong. I immediately returned the other item because of it's microscopic size while sitting on my lap and took the plunge and ordered this. I have to say that I'm super happy that I made the switch and recommend you not wasting your time and buying this high quality "substitute" for the higher end stuff. If you're just learning and want to work on your stick control, this is more than adequate to get you where you need to go - and doing so without disturbing the peace, lol. For those who are complaining that the back side of this pad is too soft to take the blunt hits of the drumsticks, please disregard those comments, as this is a one sided drum pad. To be clear, you're going to want to take your drumsticks and whack them on the side with the logo. The other side is padded foam that's put in place to help keep the pad from vibrating away from you while on a flat surface. Seriously, I understand if there are those who don't want to read the fine print on how a product is supposed to be used, but they should really look into it before leaving a negative review. This thing is adequately sized, the quality is great, and the rebound response is superb for the value. Hope this helps!

Worth it for the price alone. Very sturdy and durable.
For under $20, this practice pad can't be beat. It is huge and looks like you could put it over your snare drum pretty easily. I just use it on a table. Would probably work great in a stand as well. If you are looking for a very quiet pad this is NOT the one you want, but then what is the point of being so quiet you can't hear what you're playing. Lastly, this pad has made me want to practice my rudiments for the first time in 20 years. Loving those Flam a diddles, as well as just practicing doubles and rolls. The quality of the practice material looks to be pretty good, and all is glued on VERY well. I don't anticipate this coming apart. The included card from the Company (USA) assures you that they will do all they can to make sure you are satisfied, and that is a rarity these days. They seem like a nice couple too.In closing, if you are a parent who is looking for a practice pad at a steal of a price, or a student looking to save money to get other cool stuff, you won't be dissaspointed with this pad. Even if you're an old guy like me, who hasn't kept up with drumming in a few years, you can't go wrong here.

Great practice pad, reasonably priced
I’m taking up drumming again after many years away from it and needed a new practice pad. This pad is as good as the more expensive ones. It’s sturdy, well-made and has great rebound. It’s also very quiet so my new found hobby isn’t driving my family crazy. It’s just loud enough for me to be able to hear it when I make a mistake. There was a very minor issue with my order, which the seller addressed immediately with some of the best customer service I have encountered. This is a solid product for a very reasonable price with excellent customer service to back it. Whether you’re new to drumming or a seasoned pro, you can’t go wrong here.

Great practice pad from a beginner's perspective
Have been teaching myself to drum, and this has been a tremendous asset in my pursuit of superior stick handling. Have used this frequently for almost 6 months and have had no discernable wear on the pad. Practicing on your kit is a must, but equally important is stick handling which can be practiced on any surface. This is the ideal surface! This, along with any number of the instructional material available on the internet will help you warm up or stay in practice between sessions on your kit, which is not always the best choice for routine playing (the small hours of the morning for example)I will keep using this pad until I wear a hole through it, then I'll buy another!

Single-sided practice pad in reality, but great buy.
This is a great practice pad, shipping time was excellent, and the price was lower than competitor pricing. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is that the softer side won't last if you practice normally on it; you would have to play extremely light on it to not destroy it. Anything harder than a tap (stick higher than an inch or two; position 2 or 3/accent stroke) and you feel/hear the wood of the pad. The softer side does keep it from moving and quiets sticking on the harder practice side. The pad fits well on a 14" diameter snare drum (see picture) and provides excellent deadening. This is a great practice pad and I would recommend this product to any drummer at any skill level. Thank you Chris and Petra (Kibaga Owners) for making a great product and for including a thank-you card with your family-owned company's email in case help is needed! I hope drummers find this review helpful and remember: Only perfect practice makes perfect... so practice, practice, practice doing your rudiments & etc. correctly with perfect stick control (if you practice sloppy, you'll get really good at playing sloppy, lol). Love to all the drummers/percussionists in the world!!!

Phenomenal quality and feels like a real drum
Wow... buy this one!!! I am a long-time musician who is getting my kids into drumming (paying a buddy to give them lessons). We have a full kit, but new drummers need a quiet practice pad to really work on their stick skills. There are some "practice pads" being sold that are cheap foam on a wooden base and don't give the real rebound and feel of a snare drum. I watched a lot of videos trying to weed those products out. There are also some decent products out there that charge A LOT of money for a TINY practice pad. I'm so glad that I found the Kibaga pad. This one feels amazing, has the rebound of a real snare, is FULL SIZE, quiet, and built very very well.Definitely buy this one. I'm checking Kibaga first for any other drum supplies.
