Grandma Lucy’s Singles Pet Treat, Freeze-Dried Single Ingredient Treats for Dogs and Cats - Liver, 2.5 oz

In the early 60s', my Nonna Lucia (my Italian Grandma Lucy) would come home from the Chicken Market on Arthur Avenue and unwrap a little paper parcel -- in it was fresh chicken liver for my beloved Pee Wee Kitty -- how she loved it!! Fast forward to a more recent time-- Big Bad Baby Twinkle, licking her red chops after devouring some tasty (organic) fresh liver -- and sickly but sweet Cee Cee kitty snarfing down her fresh liver to make her feel a little better -- Nonna Lucy would be PROUD of me!!Now Sweet Cee Cee is so sickly (she is Hyperthyroid -- is on medication , and now has Chronic Renal Disease) that she is down to 3.8 pounds -- and has become VERY picky about her foodies, eschewing her once beloved fresh chicken liver. The vet and I are doing everything we can to plump up this once-wiggly kitty. Then I discovered THESE wonderful Liver treats. I put Cee CEe's canned food-du-jour (she likes it one day, she hates it the next....) in a dish, add some water to make it slurpy enough for her to eat and crumble these DEEVINE liver treats over her food, and...... It's MIRACLE!! THANK YOU GRANDMA LUCY!! Cee Cee doesn't always eat the whole portion of food but what she DOES eat is more than what she used to pick and choose over- and she eats happily. I am so happy!!!!

My kitty has been diagnosed with AIHA - basically he's destroying his own red blood cells. The vet wanted me to find food or treats with Liver in them to help bump his iron. Found these Freeze Dried Livers and figured would try them. He LOVES them. I give him a chopped up liver instead of Cat Treats and he gobbles them up. I crush them into powder and sprinkle on his food - cleans his plate. Such a good purchase!! Thank you!

Arrived beat up and unedible . Just dust, no treats. What a waste of money!

My cats like these on occasion, but definitely not every day. They are nice to have around as an alternative treat. Some of the pieces are too large so I break them into smaller pieces with my fingers. When I do this they sometimes shatter into dust, but my cats still eat that, so not a big deal.

I love Grandma Lucy dog food but I find for the price of these and the amount I’ll be skipping theseDogs seem to like them
