Great for our apartment
My husband and I ordered this to replace an older system we had for 15 years, which began to drop calls. We purchased 4 units, the main unit in my home office, one in the kitchen, living room and bedroom (this one we turned off the volume). We set up Groups (Family, Work, Friends, Health, etc) for the memorized numbers in our address book, which makes it easy to find when dialing out. We also set special ring sounds for certain Groups, like Family.Love the Call Block feature that can be selected while a telemarketer is leaving a message, never to bother us again. Nice to hear name of caller, albeit pronounced weird at times. We often get voicemail notices on screen when no one has called, but learned to press/hold pound key and it disappears. All in all, Panasonic has done it again and we're very happy with our new telephone system.

A very good price on a "used".
This product was worth every penny. The display is lighted and very visible, even without my readers (glasses). Set up was a SNAP, and everything worked great. I am truly delighted with these four Panasonic phones, AND I bought USED, and it was perfectly fine, with all the parts and instructions. I don't know why someone would not love this phone, and it appeared like they barely got it out of the box and wrapped it up again and returned it.

Very good Cordless Phone System
This set replaced a similar Panasonic cordless set of phones we've had for 5+ years. They function really well and have many really nice improvements over the old phones that are being replaced. The sound quality is good but a bit tinny.

OK, So here's the story...BUY PANASONIC!
My 15-year old Panasonic phones (just like the picture) were working fine, but I just wanted a newer model. In browsing, I found another name brand that offered a large key pad for the anchor phone, silver instead of black; but that was ok...and I liked the large key pad. The new set was the most poorly designed piece of junk I have ever used. The keys were small and wobbled back and forth--Panasonic has a positive pressure key pad, so it actually feels like you are pressing a key. The hold button on the other set was right next to the "on" button so if you tried to hold the phone next to your ear with your shoulder you disconnect the caller or put them on hold. The ring was shrill. The lettering was tiny in the window--completely impossible for a 75-year old. Nothing about it spoke of quality. I finally ordered my old Panasonic--still being made--and am so excited I can hardly believe it. It seems like there is a saying to illustrate the point about sticking with a winner, but I can't remember it. Buy the Panasonic.

Excellent home phone system
Very easy to use, understand the features and to add RoboCallers to the blocked list. The number of robocalls we get now has dropped to practically none, and when they change numbers and try again, a push of the button and they added to the list. I thank Panasonic for designing a feature that is simple to use and really works!

Good basic phone. Non-existent customer service. Very short usable life.
This was a replacement for an 8-year old Panasonic system. It worked well so I figured to replace it with the current model. It was easy to program and is supposed to have a 250 entry call block list. On the down side, some less than bright designer placed the volume control right where you grab the phone so it goes off all the timeThe bad news - Here we are less than a year later and it is already malfunctioning. I ran a bunch of checks to no avail so I went on line for a chat with their first line of defense whose best response was to say he would pass it up the line. Of course they never got back to me. So I chatted back and was told to wipe everything and re-input all my numbers.Or, return it (at my expense) for a (maybe) 3-5 day turnaround (not including shipping time.Panasonic used to be a good name. Today...not so much.I do not recommend Panasonic anymore.Addendum:New problem. Chat was useless and "passed up the line". Response was useless and obviously from someone with English as a second language. Mentioned their crappy warranty (which has expired).Panasonic may be the reason I dump my landline after more than 4 decades.I, doubly, do not recommend Panasonic anymore!Addendum #2: Now one handset is missing its ID and the Menu Bar.NO ONE ANSWERS THEIR CHAT!DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE AND I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST ANY OTHER PANASONIC PHONE OR PRODUCT!

A perfect reliable phone system for your home
If you’re going to be on a conference call all day while you’re working at home there is nothing like a land line. And these phones are great for the last feet between your house line and you. I plug in a headset and walk around while in this phone. We had a similar set that we bought maybe 20 years ago and loved it. When we moved we decided a refresh was in order. Didn’t hesitate a minute to replace the old one with basically the same system.

Disappointing Quality
For over thirty years I've been a lover of all things Panasonic. My phone, tv, surround system, bookshelf speakers, DVD player- the works -are Panasonic. But the quality of this new phone system is appalling; Voices are fuzzy on calls and almost impossible to understand on the answering machine. The volume cannot be adequately turned up when using the handset speaker, and if a message is not played, the phones begin flashing at 3 am and won't stop until the message is played. The number of contacts is limited, and unlike the older units, additional information cannot be added. Except for its call blocking ability, I'm extremely disappointed with the Panasonic DECT 6.0Expandable Cordless Phone System.
