Pre-Drill First
I needed a support for my valance rod. This item was the perfect distance. Unfortunately I did not make the pilot hole deep enough, and it broke. I do not blame the seller, but myself.

Does the job.
Worked as expected. I was glad to find a longer than average bracket support for curtain rod. My only issue is it could be improved by having a longer textured area for adjusting depth that goes into wall. In my case I nearly needed it to go in slightly deeper so that would be a nice option to have.

Great product
Husband made my rod bend. I had heavy black out curtains. Put this to brace new rod. Problem solved!

Measurement not super accurate
I expected the overall length of the support to be 5 1/2 inches. The long part of the support is the 5 1/2 inches. I had to cut off about 1 1/4" of the screw in end and drill my own hole in the window frame to make this support work for my rod pocket hanger. I needed the hook part to be about 3" from the window frame.

Flimsy, don't waste your time or money.
Absolute garbage. I have an 80" wide curtain that weighs 10-12 lbs. I bought 2 since it's such a wide space, thinking it was overkill since the curtains weigh so little. They sagged as soon as I hung the curtains.

Easy to install
Bought these support brackets to hold drapes. My rod sagged and as I had to install myself it sounded easy.I was able to get the screw started easily and twisted without any tools. I have rheumatoid arthritis and most things are difficult for me, but these were easy and they held my drapes just as needed.I would recommend.
