Super useful for fungus gnats but difficult to use
These work great for fungus gnats at home. But they get so tiring to use because you need to soak them in water before watering the house plants. It is super effective over a few weeks but it’s just a lot of work. If you have a large collection I would recommend to buy fungus gnat drops. That’s what I’m planning on getting when I run out

Quick and easy way to help prevent mosquitos
Easy to use quickly and routinely to help control mosquitos. After each rain, I sprinkle a spoonful into outdoor French drains and into watering can to help prevent mosquitos from breeding.

Highly effective treatment for fungus gnats
This IS the perfect solution to gnats spawning in/around your plants. We had an infestation that began from soil we had purchases and potted plants in. We followed the directions to a T and treated the soil. It worked wonderfully and the next day, while also having the sticky traps placed, all gnats disappeared and no more were born. It has been treated for almost two weeks now and no sign of any further pests.

Contradictory Messaging
I have yet to see the results, but I do have to say the manufacturer is sending completely contradictory messages about the safety of this product. The promo materials all indicate this is completely safe for people and animals. The instructions on the packaging suggest we’re dealing with nuclear waste. So I had to spend additional time researching the safety before using. I found assurance of the safety of the active ingredient from multiple reputable sources. I don’t know the reason the manufacturer feels the need to frighten people.

Fungus Gnats
This product will help Control fungus gnats but not necessarily rid you of them forever. I have a large number of house plants and a couple treatments will pretty much rid me of them. If you introduce a new plant or new soil you will have a higher rate of re-infestation. I’m currently struggling with a high infestation from the bags of soil I purchased for my flower and vegetable seedlings. Those little suckers feed on your seedlings roots and will quickly kill your tender plants. I find that I have to use the Mosquito Bits for every other watering to keep the gnats under control in my greenhouse. Soak 4 Tablespoons of bits in a gallon of warm water for no less than half hour. I stir it every few minutes. Strain off ALL of the bits and give your plants a good drink. (The bits will mold if left on your soil). You cannot store the solution beyond about a day so plan accordingly. The used bits are supposed to be safe to put in your compost. They are just a carrier medium. Good luck!

The only proper solution to fungus gnats in house plants! Have tried everything to deal with fungus gnats infestations from new plants or new potting soil. Super easy to prepare and use. Takes 2-3 treatments over a few weeks to really eradicate fungus gnat problems but it’s highly effective especially combined with sticky traps to deal with the adults. It is quite expensive and can be used up pretty quickly depending on how many house plants you have but nothing works quite like this stuff. Also see a very low rate of reoccurring problems after using these. Would also recommend the mosquito dunks in regular watering once a month or so to keep those little suckers at bay permanently!

Is good for keeping insects away in gardens

Used in my fungus gnat elimination protocol. Works well, but for really bad infestations I would go straight to the chemical stuff first, and then use this to keep it under control.

Mosquito bits are great, they really do the job well on fungus gnats in my experience. Unfortunately though, I didn't receive my order. I did get a refund but the product isn't available anymore except for astronomical prices so I'm left stuck without any mosquito bits and a growing population of fungus gnats ruining my expensive plants.

I use these to try and combat the massive tiger mosquito issue that's plagued our home located in spain. This attacks the larvae so interrupting the breeding cycle. So not an immediate solution. Problem is the effectiveness won't be noticed until later in the year as female tiger mosquitos (biting) live for up to a month, so it needs a few generations to be disrupted before any number drop in numbers are experienced. And eggs can over-winter on dry surfaces too. So consistent treatments with multiple methods is required. It also needs your neighbours to be on board with managing standing water. If your neighbours have water, be it a small puddle in a pot tray or a swimming pool, then you will still suffer. Also use BTi in conjunction with other types of trap or insecticides to reduce number of adults. Scatter these where water can potentially puddle. So they become effectively when it rains or gets wet. Replenish every few months. It's as simple as that. Knocked a star off due to the price as they are really expensive once import fees are applied.
