I have an older PC that only came with a VGA port and a DVI port, and since i wanted to add a second monitor i needed some why to convert/adapt the DVI port to the HDMI input on the new monitor.The DTech adapter did the job perfectly.The DVI connector on the adapter fit into the DVI port on the computer without any issues and the screw nuts to tighten the DVI connector into place were aligned in the exact right spots.The HDMI connector on the adapter easily accepted the HDMI cable that I had and once the other end of the HDMI cable was connected to the monitor the picture on the monitor came through clear and bright.Overall, including the time to crawl under the computer desk, put the connectors into place, crawl out from under the computer desk and complete the setup of the monitor on the display menu took maybe five or ten minutes.

Per the description does DVI to HDMI at 4k but HDMI to DVI was inconsistent. Tried on several devices and it work on 2/4 of them
