Q: I’ve purchased this item and returned the first one but they both have arrived missing the inner gasket for the injector housing

Try the internet to see if you can purchase some or maybe Walmart or and auto store believe it or not. Gaskets can be interchangeable for other things and sometimes work better and they aren't expensive.

Q: This product is great, the only complaint is that the screw on the trigger comes loose after repeated squeezes. Would there be a way to fix this?

Loctite blue, or red. Thread glue.

Q: The first thing it says to do is place the rubber seal in the main part - between tube and gun. No rubber seal in the box. Will it work?

No. The rubber seal keeps it from leaking. I had one that was on the plunger and one extra in the box
