Prevents record slippage during play. Flattens the record for improved tracking. Reduces vibration distorting. Improves accurate bass response. 14 oz (512 grams) milled aluminum with felt base. Laser etched on top with the GrooveWasher "circle G" icon. Includes hinged lid chipboard storage box with black foam insert. Stabilizer weights may not be appropriate for every turntable or record player. Check your turntable's instructions.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this as a gift for my guy after doing a fair amount of research for quality record weights. Later learned he already had one (and then the office got into a conversation about how it’s a bad idea to try to buy something for someone’s hobby because they’ll know more about it than you ever will).... BUT! He likes this one so much, said it’s better than what he was using so this is what he uses now.

Beautifully Crafted
The GrooveWasher record weight has serious heft and is a very nice piece of machining. It looks great on my turntable and probably contributes to better sonic quality from my set up. U-TURN ORBIT owners be advised that if you have an acrylic platter the cover WILL INTERFERE and not close. You will need to remove the cover to play. Not a big deal, but noteworthy for the Orbit community. I received this record weight as a gift (buyer purchased from Amazon). As the end user of this product, I am very pleased.
