Air Innovations MH-702A 1.7 Gal. Cool Mist Digital Humidifier for Large Rooms, Up to 600 sq. ft, with Remote

I had gone through 3 different humidifiers at around the $100 to $120 price range. The quality control from these companies is horrendous. All had problems and I returned them. Then I saw air innovations and loved the price and the fact that they were made in the USA, not China. Even if it’s just assembled and QC’d in the states I suspected better quality. Well the hunch paid off and the vapor production is the best I’ve had, everything was included, everything worked. It was about $20 cheaper too. I 100% recommended this product. Maybe as a Quality Assurance Manager for a medical device company I just expect too much, but maybe we all should expect to get what we paid for once again!

I brought for my orchids which require humidity. The extension and long run time makes it perfect for my use, but stopped working after 4 months. Contacted the seller and they would only replace with the same after I sent the non working one back(at my expense). Explained that I didn't want it replace because it seems like a common problem. I would stay away from purchasing this humidifier unless you have money to throw away.

Body looks like a delicate plastic, can break easily if it slips from the hand

This was our second purchase, the first was from Home Depot. We have one in our master bedroom and one in the living/dining area. Between the two of them they can hold the entire house at the desired humidity level. Just by comparing how much water these units use compared to a Honeywell wick-system humidifier, you can see how much more effective they are. With outdoor humidity getting down to less than 10% at times these units are doing the job. I no longer have itchy, dry skin. The remote is very handy and the electronics give you a lot of flexibility in how you want to humidify your home.

the delay start and auto off need tweaking. 99% of delay start and auto off run on date and time. this unit runs on countdown not friendly to use, that being said, it is silent and the mist adjustment id good.
