Excellent toaster oven for roasting nuts
The size is very good. It is tall enough to allow the rack to be placed right at center. The toast comes out evenly toasted on both sides.I use the bake pan to roast nuts. The bake pan butts against the back and the sides with no gap. This allows the nuts to be pushed around without worrying about them falling out of the pan. This is the main reason why I purchase this toaster oven.I do not like is that there is no marking on the front of the knot to show the current selection. I use a red permanent to draw a line on all three knots so I can easily spot the current election.I also do not like the yellow warning label on top of the oven. I removed it immediately as it will be more difficult to remove later on.

I prefered to use old ANALOG controls as Digital ones can be disabled or destroyed too easily
I need a capable 6 slice toaster over for just 1 simple job: To cook my pork ribs!I had an old one but someone in the house suddenly decided to disable it by removing the main timer button and I can't find it anywhere. So whether it's out of spite or senility (especially as I'm the only one who has ever used it in over 20 years) I just decided to toss it out as junk and buy myself a new one.I tried at least 1 other model before I settled upon this choice and so far after doing 2 sets of Ribs, it's basically passed the standard User Acceptance Tests. There are a few minor improvements that are needed as the stainless steel dials have several other ribs on them, which leads to confusion as to which one in the indicator for the settings (it's the middle one). Buts it's totally unnecessary to have several ribs on the dial. The electric cord is pitifully short at about 18 inches and I need to re-arrange the kitchen counter to have it near to a electric outlet so I can use it.I would have loved it if it came with more than the basic trays. As usual when starting to use a toaster oven for the first time, there is a BREAK-IN (actually BURN IN) period for it. You need to set it to the highest settings on BROIL and let cook at the highest settings for at least 20-30 minutes.Be careful as this will almost set off your smoke/fire alarm as it will be burning off any paints or glues still attached to it from the factory. Afterwards you are good to go.So for the pricing, size, cooking features (and yes, it does have an internal fan!) and its a ANALOG machine and not digital, I am happy with it so far.FYI regarding DIGITAL controls, just a simple power surge will wreck it. The pretty digital panel will be gone and nothing will work afterwards. With old Analog controls, it wont be a problem as there isn't a microprocessor or fancy display that can be wrecked.

Good buy: sleek, beautiful & effective convection oven
Pros: compact, beautiful & sleek stainless steel design; works well though seems just a tad slower than my old convection oven.Cons: dials somewhat confusing at first & took me a while to figure out; exterior gets quite hot.But all in all, this was a great purchase--I'm very happy with this excellent & reasonably priced oven.Update: unfortunately, the oven died after only about 4 years usage.

Weighs Very Little
This is a great little oven, but it does not have a lot of bells and whistles if that is what you want. I bought it for heating up TV dinners, which it did just fine. It is small so it will only hold one large dinner, unless you stack them, which you can do with the provided wire shelf. The temperature and the timer worked fine on my unit. The unit has a constant on position if you want to cook longer than 30 minutes. I would buy again.

Has everything comparable to my old big 1500 watts
If without the adventuring Amazon today I would have no Amazon adventure today. I write this because I am thankful of everyone coming together at Amazon, so here goes: About this New House toaster oven, the dialing for temperatures is not exactly to the numbers, but close enough, pretty surprising. The turn-knobs are really tight--there could be where some of the savings are, so no problem for me. The defrost and warm probably use the upper heat-rods only where bake the upper and lower both. It's bright silver, a 1380w, and pleasant looking, and delivered to me in pristine condition by AmazonWarehouse. Love, love, love.

Works as
In the summer months, I avoid using the oven but we still crave for pizza from time to time. I take this outside, put it on a metal table and bake my pizza. It takes longer to bake (about double the usual time) but the pizza turns out great. And keeps my house cool. Also baked homemade dog treats in this and also turned out great. So far this kitchen gadget works as expected.

Big footprint/Only runs when timer is on/Timer makes noise
I bought this oven based on the price and the positive reviews. This oven has a big footprint for what you can fit in it. I measured the exterior at about 18W x 11D x 11T. But the inside tray measures 12.5W x 9 1/2D. It is rather tall, though, so you could probably fit a small roast in there. There are groves on the inside of the oven to position the trays at three different levels. However, I'm not sure where the heating element(s) are located, since they don't illuminate when the oven is heated. There may be one at the bottom of the oven and top, but I can't be sure. The only way to turn the unit on is with the timer. The max on the timer is 30 minutes, so you'll have to reset it to cook anything longer. Also, you have to factor setting the timer to accommodate warming up the oven. The timer is not silent, so whenever the oven is running you hear a rapid tick..tick...tick...tick...tick... of the timer. (It kind of sounds like a fast turn signal in a car.)The knobs on the dials are hard to read.It looks sleek but isn't that functional. I could probably get an oven that has a smaller footprint but the same interior size.I don't think I'd buy this again.
