Good NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD
It's an agressively priced, but good NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. It is priced almost half of other drives of similar capacity. The drive lacks DRAM, hence the performance is less than other drives having DRAM chip. But they are also much expensive. However, the Transcend SSD Scope software repeatedly failed to clone my HDD to the newly installed SSD. However, I suceeded using Minitool Partition Wizard. Now my laptop has become very fast. However, for even better performance, a NVMe PCIe SSD with a DRAM chip would have helped.Overall, good buy for the price.

best performance for the money
if you already have an hdd in ur laptop and have a nvme support on ur laptop motherboard(just look for B key M.2 slot ) and don't wanna spend 6-10k this is ur best option.benefits: 3 times faster than normal ssd120gb more than enuf for OS as we already have the hddEnd result we want: OS on nvme ssd and hdd as secondary storage.open laptop -------------insert ssd and use any extra screw for inside.open disk partition in windowsinitializeformat ntfs, create gpt disk partition n new volumeinstall new windows via usbformat hdd for secondary storage, and faster boot.result: faster boot time and application times.

Took whole day to find driver for Windows 7, Write speed is only 600MB/s and not up-to 1500.
It took my whole day to find suitable driver for this NVMe disk. There is no any native support for Windows 7. I saw that hotfix was released by microsoft but later they removed hotfix so they can force us to use Win10 however this is Good for Windows 10 because of Win 10 have native support for NVMe. If you will purchase samsung nvme then you can easily find driver on internet for Windows 7.Transcend does not provide driver or even tutorial so you will be need to depend on others brand like Gigabyte, Samsung, etc.I asked to Transcend customer support, They do not provide driver. So I used Gigabyte's "Windows USB Installation Tool" which was compatible with my motherboard and now posting this review from PC which have Transcend TS128GMTE110S NVMe Disk. ;)Write speed is just 600MB/s and not even up-to 1000MB/s so forget about getting write speed up-to 1500MB/s as claimed.

Asus FX 505DY: Beast till it worked.
Personally I chose this path:1- Formatted my stock 1TB HDD with a fresh install of Windows 102- Updated that install as far as it could go(the Creators Update)3- Inserted this nvme into PORT14- Used EASEUS HOME to clone my Windows partition to the drive(took about 8 minutes to do so)5- Went into the BIOS and flagged the transcend nvme as the only boot device by deleting the HDD6- Once in Windows I formatted the HDD and made it a scratch discHopefully that will help someone out! The Speeds are excellent!!UPDATE (RATING REVISION REQUIRED):- the drive randomly during a meeting turned the laptop off and upon restart showed SMART Status Bad. Drive has failed for now, but because of the lockdown I am helpless. Well, be aware, this can happen

Good SSD for OS partition
I have a Lenovo S145 Ryzen 3 laptop which can only utilize NVMe SSDs. I am using this NVMe SSD for OS partition and using the inbuilt 1 TB Western digital SSD for storing files. For such a hybrid use case, this SSD is perfect. Samsung 970 Evo will give even more performance but for a lightweight usage, this SSD is what I will recommend to everyone due to price to performance ratio.

Good SATA III SSD
Using it since last three years with total power-on-hours of over an year. Still going strong. This is rated for 300 TBW and mine has reached around 4TB now. Temperature is well within control and I have not seen it go above 50C with modest workload without any additional cooling. Arrived on time and packaging was good.Note: This is a SATA III SSD and on most motherboards will eat up a SATA III lane resulting in one of the motherboard SATA ports useless. Read your motherboard manual if you plan to use all the SATA ports with this m2 drive.

Easy to use, small NVMe drive, great for LibreELEC
I bought this for a small LibreELEC setup using an Intel J5005 Pentium CPU. This provides more than enough capacity and speed for the install and local database storage (media on on NAS storage). I simply mounted it on the motherboard - the storage was recognised in BIOS and in the installation process. It has been running a couple of months, no issues whatever.

Speedy and consistent
Used for OS and extremely happy with it. Boots up within seconds. Took of the sticker due to putting on a heatsink. Gen 3 is still great, my MB supports Gen 4 so might look for a Gen 4 variant in the future

A satisfied customer
I bought this to install in my nitro 5 for the sole purpose of installing fallout 76 onto it. What an improvement! No more micro stuttering when running at ultra and plenty of space for future patches.
