Great Performance gain for 2011 2500HD Duramax
I bought the superchips vivid for my 2011 2500HD with the Duramax and Allison Transmission. I have mainly used Performance mode only and haven't towed our fifth wheel toyhauler yet but the performance mode has dramatically evened out the power band in normal driving. I got 18.9 MPG highway when previously I was getting 15.7 MPG and I am in Perf. mode not gas saver. I plan to do some more tests of the other modes, especially Perf/Tow mode. The Android app is great, simple to use. I rated 4 stars only because it was a bit tough to get setup - don't use the cheap USB cable included, it wouldn't work from my laptop, and also if blue tooth is connected but the app won't work there is a "work-around" where you have to press the home key to get a little popup about picking the right vivid connection... found these buried in the forums on superchips site - once I worked through everythign has been great.
