The tripod is nice, but I dislike the inability to turn the head to take pictures upright/vertically instead of horizontally.I possibly just missed that it wouldn't be able to do that in descriptions, so I'm not faulting them on that.The legs are nice for positioning. They set it many different ways, which is great.However, the tripod seems unbalanced once the phone is in the holder. I have trouble getting it to stay standing or to not topple over.I really do love the added Bluetooth photo button, that's a great addition!Overall, I think the tripod isn't great for my uses as I can't seem to get it to not fall over. But for the price, it really is a good tripod for use when holding it and has nice positioning legs!

I had originally thought about ordering the DaVoice Flexible Tripod, but saw a video review of the Gekkopod and thought that was a pretty good items and ordered the Gekkopod. Now that I have had the Gekkopod and now just received the DaVoice flexible tripod, the DaVoice tripod is much better and allows better manipulation of the legs to how you may need the legs set to support your phone. The connection where the cell phone holder connects to the tripod has a latch so the part that actually connects to the cell phone Holder comes off when needed. The part has a screw which you can use a quarter to tighten the screw into the holder so it is nice and tight. When you need to move the angle of your phone that is easily done with the pivoting ball joint which is a major plus. The bluetooth remote has two buttons which one is supposed to be Camera 360 app on iOS and the other button is for Android OS phones. Well I have to say the bluetooth remote comes in real handy and it worked with my Nokia Lumia 930 Windows phone with no problem. This is a handy tripod for any level of experience.

Tripod is great, and it is what I was purchasing in the first place. I took a star off for the free shutter button. I know, not fair, but when you include something it becomes part of the purchase experience. The button battery was pre installed and already depleted. No instructions were included though a Google search found YouTube videos to fill that gap. But I spent a lot of time making something work that afterwards just conked out due to low battery.

I wishI had not bought this package. The one good thing is the little remote to make the iPhone (or iPad) take photos. It was easy to set up and works great. But the flexible tripod and iPhone case are practically worthless. The flex-tripod is very flimsy. And it's extremely hard to get it adjusted to any kind of consistent position. If you are lucky enough to get a phone-camera positioned the way you want it, then forget moving the phone again - the slightest adjustment throws the whole thing out of whack. The worst component of the package is the metal piece that holds your iPhone. It's so flimsy I would never trust it in any kind of situation where my phone could fall and get damaged. It's okay if you just need to prop the iPhone up without caring about precision or fear of it falling out. Between the flimsy little tripod and the even flimsier holder, you really can't use this set up to make any kind of precise camera set up with your iPhone. I wish I'd spent more on a sturdier set up and just paid $3 or so for a remote.

The ONLY reason I'm giving this 4 instead of 5 stars is that the tripod much shorter than I had hoped. BUT, the remote is AWESOME!!!! It paired with my phone in less than 30 seconds, and worked right off the bat... I didn't have to do anything to set it up.I really like that it comes with a little bag also.

This was purchased as a gift. I cannot award 5 stars because I cannot speak specifically about its functionality. It arrived timely, packaged reasonably, and to date I have been told it is "a great gift". I know it is being used a lot, and he is having what may be considered too much fun with this product....

I was very excited about purchasing this tripod with remote, but also concerned. I shouldn't give it 5 stars, because of the screw on the tripod. BUT it does work and serve its purpose. My husband needs to add some glue to make the clamp hold onto the tripod and stop it from spinning. It never quite stops spinning when you screw it together. But the clamp works great and so does the remote! I absolutely love it! I actually carry the remote around more than I do the tripod. Because this way you can get further away in a group photo to take the picture.

Generally nice device. Using it to hold a Moto X phone. Only issue is the tripod is so lite the phone makes it top heavy, and if you tilt the phone downward much the tripod falls over. The joints are a bit loose, so the weight of the phone cause it to tilt, but for generally straight on shots or a lighter weight phone it will work ok. The Bluetooth enabled shutter release works well.
