5 star for product. Product is as advertised. It works on the USB 2 header on the motherboard. I can't vouch for USB 3.1 star for shipping. I ordered April 17th, and it didn't arrive until May 25th. The product and price were fine, but don't order this if you expect rapid delivery.

I removed a card reader from my old HP desktop, the cable was to short to plug it into a USB spot on the motherboard. I purchased this, folded over the one pin and done! works great!

I don't know if I'll be able to straighten these pins without breaking them or not... I needed these cables to be able to convert from the old style on-board USB header which has 2x rows of 5 pins to the newer 9 pin that is today's standard. I also ordered a different 9 pin cable that I can possibly try to use if I can't repair this one but I'm going to have to repin the cables which might be easier than working with this mess.The other cable in this 2pk was not damaged.

This product fitted the motherboard like a glove, works perfectly and it was used to replace an item that I could not obtain from Asus but Amazon had it.
