Warning!! until now you will not get a wooden box ebony color anymore but plastic dark red/brown color. I really want to like this box after all I read all reviews and compared to other watch boxes so I decided to buy this one. However when I received this on April 6,2015.I recognized the box is unlike the pictures and it's not made from ebony wood as it's described.Moreover the color is not black but dark red brown color as you can see from the pictures that I took.Interior and the color of pillows is not s nice as the pictures also ( the smell of glue is really strong).So I only give 1 star for misleading and disappointed. If you changed or discontinue the product that you used to sell at least update the details and pictures so buyers will know exactly what we will get when we buy it........................................................................................................................................................................Update April 16,2015 Seller emailed me to explain that the factory can't make the ebony box so beautiful color so they cover with the plastic layer of the skin but inside is still the wood. They insist that the material is wood not plastic (even it's cover with the layer of plastic). My point and recommend is if from now on you changed the processing of the product which is the outcome is not the same anymore just update the picture and description of the product so we buyer will know exactly what we will get and won't be disappointed.

After reading some positive reviews and one negative, I decided to go ahead with the purchase and was highly disappointed, the box itself and the color was okay but the craftsmanship was horrible, the hinge that mounts on the main box itself was missing three of the four screws on each side and ready to fall off. At this point, I'm not sure if I plan to return it or fix it myself but wanted the next potential buyer beware.

Key-lock mechanism broke after a week but I never really needed a locking mechanism in the first place so I won't complain.Aside from that, the box looks great and feels relatively sturdy.

The workmanship and overall quality of the storage box is very good; it looks much more expensive than the cost. The hinges are high quality and the wood finish is great. There is ample room for even the large sized watches currently in style. If you are looking for a storage box for up to six watches, this is a great option.

So pleased with this purchase. It looks great and is high quality for the price. On a previous box I purchased the lid did not actually stay up without one having to hold it - this one works perfectly. Excellent gift item.

I have ordered this item and I received completely different box! I am so disappointed!!!

I spent days searching for the perfect watch case with a glass cover & lock and I am so happy I stumbled across this one! The quality is great - comes w/ a microfiber cloth & key, has lots of room for oversized watches, hardware is sturdy, and the gloss finish on the wood feels like the finish on a piano. Can't beat the price either - very happy!
