Suprised
I received within days of order, it was larger than I was expecting but that is ok. It charged up very quickly since it came mostly charged. It hooked up to my HP Pavilion Laptop, Acer Aspire laptop and my Kindle Fire HD and Cell phone with ease. I was a little concerned when reading the reviews that it may be confusing to use. The green /white lights talked about in a bad review is actually a flashlight feature being on and off which was a nice touch. The only problem I had with it, was it wasn't charging (so I thought ) but it was user error, I plugged it in in a rush and put the plug into the in power not the out once I had corrected that, it worked great charged completely dead batteries (the HP hadn't been charged since Feb) in an hour or so. The Kindle charged up in a couple of hours but it takes 4 hours plugged into the wall so I am quite pleased . I got this to keep my laptops, kindle and cell phones going while on extended camping trips the grandkids like to watch movies before they go to bed and we like to play games when you wake up in the middle of the night and it is dark and boring or on a rainy day and the kids cant go outside. This helps keep me from using up the battery in my trailer and the kids entertained during the dark. I love this product.

More of a Power Bank than a Solar Charger
This solar charger is more of a power bank than a stand-alone solar charger. Keeping that in mind, it does come very handy. The capacity of 23,000 mAh really shows when I'm able to charge my cell phone, mp3 player, and portable video player. It's definitely a high-capacity power bank with a solar panel to top it off. One thing to note is that when using it to charge your laptop, make sure your laptop's battery can hold a charge, otherwise you'll be bleeding this device dry using it to charge your laptop. The built-in flashlight comes in handy with lighting emergencies. Overall, don't expect to be outlet-free with this device, but if you want a power bank with a solar add-on, give this a try.

Power when you need it
I used this along with a smaller one on a week-long 498 mile ride in Washington, and it worked great to keep my netbook and smartphone charged. The solar charge takes a long, long time to fully charge a battery, I am talking a few days in the direct sun. But it keeps my devices powered when I need them, for as long as I need them, and that's what counts for me. I only charged it once during my trip.

Wonderful Product
This is an excellent product it keeps my DROID Razr, Dell laptop and my Ipod charged up. It has separate charging ports for your 5 volt electronics and laptops. You can set the voltage for your laptop and if you can set it in the sun while you work on your laptop it will charge itself and your laptop up with it's photo voltaic cells that cover the whole top face of it. I recommend this to anyone that is always on the go but are tired of their electronics running out of juice.

Does not work as solar charger.
If you want a portable battery it is great. But if you want customer support or the solar panels to work forget it. Also, it is great for phones and iPads. Not enough juice for a computer.

Not good near any audio recordings
Died on me after less than a year. The LED makes a high pitched sound. Not good near any audio recordings.

Battery Pack
I used it as a battery pack for my CPAP and was able to get eight hours of uninterrupted sleep while camping. I was unable to test the solar charging portion of the battery pack as unfortunately it dropped to the ground from where I had placed it and damaged the solar panel, but it still chaged well from a generator. For the $140 price it was well worth it, as dedicated CPAP batteries can easily cost twice that. It charged my phone fine as well.

Maybe for a phone, but not a computer...
A neat concept and apparently well made, I bought this primarily to charge an HP G71 laptop. The product appeared to charge up from the AC adapter, but when the unit was connected to my computer, it would only supply a charging voltage to the computer for less than 5 minutes. At that point the product would shut off and lock up--it would no longer respond to the power button. Plugging the AC charger back into the product for a moment would reset the product, but trying to charge the computer again led to the same defective behavior. The only connector (out of many supplied) that fit into my HP laptop had a center pin that appeared thinner than the pin in the HP factory AC charger. Since the charger didn't discharge well into the computer, I was not able to do rigorous testing of the solar charge function, but I suspect the solar panel would be woefully inadequate to help keep a laptop charged up when AC power is not available. It might be okay for keeping a phone charged when away from AC power.
