Salad Buffet in Oklahoma!!
This is by far one of Whitetail Institute’s best products. I’ve tried a several of their products and have had success with them but none have performed like this one and it for sure will stay in my arsenal from now on. This stuff grows fast with little to no farm equipment but if you do have the equipment, it will come in even better. These pictures were taken almost 1 month after planting. This is the first plant on soil of a newly created plot cleared inside the woods. I didn’t take a soil sample or drop lime but did use 400 lbs/acre of fertilizer per the instructions. Started growing in a week. After a month it’s ankle deep and coming in thick. I highly recommend this product. Very happy bow hunter here!!

Great Product
I had a really hard time deciding what to put in my food plot but I ultimately decided on a mixed plot where I planted late season seeds inn the back half and the front two thirds I planted in Imperial No-Plow. I did prepare the seed bed by tilling in lime and fertilizer after a soil test. At first I was very disappointed, All of the seeds in the back third of the plot germinated quickly and came up very fast and it seemed like the No-Plow was going to be a wash, but I was wrong. Once this started coming up it came in fast and thick and the deer are hammering it. It's a great product. Four stars because its a slow starter compared to other seeds I planted at the same time, but I am very happy with it and will be using it again.

Easy planting.
I'm pretty happy with this stuff. I didn't prepare the ground real well. I did spray with glyph towards the end of September. This was NEWLY cleared ground (via bulldozer) so there wasn't a TON of weeds but definitely some. I really think this is the only necessary step (ensuring your seeds hit clean ground). I did run over some spots with the scarifiers on my box blade to kind of rip up the ground some but the spots where I did that didn't necessarily grow up better. I didn't water it. And this was in mid/late Sept. and it HAS NOT rained since. I'm sure it would be taller/thicker if it had some water. but it's doing ok. I also put down some fertilizer with the seed. All of the green in the picture is the new growth. it was bare 2 weeks or so before this picture. Overall it does seem to really be a no till solution. and it does work that way. but, as with anything else, the more time and effort you spend on it the better it will turn out. I'm only using this "food plot" to attract and watch deer. not hunting. as such I would certainly do it the EASY way again. If I were more serious I might spend more time on it. Already attracted two bucks that I haven't seen on camera here before.

Good results for Virginia food plot
Virginia piedmont region with higher acidity soil, seeded mid-late august, had good greened up foodplot by beginning October that held deer for browsing.

Mother Nature's Little Helper
Firstly, yes - we love venison, and would love to have some of our local Bambi friends for dinner, if it weren't for the small matter of their residing in a nature conservancy. That said, even though we would not benefit in any direct way from the nutrition provided to our local deer by this mix, we decided to give them an alternative to our yew trees for their Thanksgiving meal. My husband diligently sewed the seed mix, by hand, in every open track and clearing, trusting to the late August rains to get it started. And then we had a mini drought. No rain for weeks. That was a waste of time, we thought. But yesterday we took a long walk to sew some braccia seeds we had on hand, and what a pleasant surprise! Sprouts covering every one of our selected areas with a pleasing fuzz of bright green! This stuff is amazing. I would reccommend it to any one, whatever their prospects of reward or motivation.
