This is a very poor quality and dangerous design
This is a very poor quality and dangerous design. The "D" ring turns sideways when you use it because it is longer when rotated. It also comes loose even if I tighten it all the way and fervently press the Velcro together. I will break loose with no warning and of course your weights will slamm down on the cable machine. This strap is dangerous. I would avoid it for your safety.

Works as intended and comfortable
Feels good around the ankle. I use it more for hitting the rear delt. I strap it on my wrist to a cable and do reverse flies.

Worked good at first. Velcro becomes unsticky and flies right off your ankle while trying to use it.
