Very good pop-up goal....even better Customer Service!
I have played soccer on a highly competitive (amateur) level for more than 35 years. I have also been coaching youth soccer for more than 10 years. I have owned many dozens of pop-up goals, owning many different sizes by different manufacturers. I know a good pop-up goal when I see it!Until recently I was an extremely loyal fan and customer of PUGG goals. In fact, I still am a fan of their product; however, I ran across a GOLME pop-up goal at a pick-up game and was impressed with their size, shape, durability, and attractiveness. Simply put, the goals look good and feel like they're well made. After reading many reviews, I decided to purchase a pair of 6 footers. So far, I've used the goals a few dozen times for pick-up games and am not disappointed. I'm a bit concerned about the strength of the actual net material. In fact, after a few uses, my 6 year old ripped one of the nets by toe-poking the ball out of the goal from the net-side of the goal, something he has seen me do hundreds of times with PUGG goals. After I saw the rip, I was so disappointed because I had really liked the goals up to then. I contacted GOLME's customer service to inquire about a warranty claim. After I answered a few questions and provided them with a photo, they immediately sent me a replacement goal. I don't think I've ever had better customer-service anywhere. Because of GOLME's unparalleled service (and their product really is good), I a BIG, BIG fan of GOLME.Henceforth, GOLME will be my first choice in future pop-up goal purchases.

Good goals, worth it if you're going to use them a good amount
This is my 3rd year coaching my son's soccer team. The practice fields don't have any nets and thats just not fun or effective. The team is 2nd graders this year and I went with the 6' goals because even at 6 feet they still are not that big. Much smaller than the net they use in the game. We've used them ever week at practice and once at the house so about 7 times so far. Kids have jumped on them and ran into them usually on purpose. The poles that bend can probably withstand that abuse for a while, I'm not sure about the plastic piece in the corner where the poles meet though. The netting is also good so far, no rips, snags or tears. If that happens it'll probably from from abuse and not actually soccer use. So far so good.I like the carrying case I just throw the whole thing in the back of my pickup and I put 2 soccer balls and cones in the bag as well with the goals and all seems well. These would fit in a truck of a car or SUV also but they are large when folded up. Looks like a giant tear drop but I just leave it against the wall in the basement until practice. After the season I'll have to find some place to store them and I imagine these should last us all the way through elementary school and hopefully longer.

Well worth the price!
I was looking for a cheap set of practice goals as a birthday present for my son. I looked at some of the availble options made from PVC and other materials for under $50. The reviews generally indicated that most were made from cheap, brittle materials that wouldn't stand up to the abuse that 7-12 year old kids would unleash on them.I then stumbled across the GOLME Pro pop up goals on Amazon. While the GOLME goals are a little pricier than some other solutions, I decided to spend the little bit extra and go with the GOLME Pro Pop Up (pair) (6 Feet). I ABSOLUTELY made the right decision. These goals are great. They set up instantly, are well made, and are very easily collapsed back into the carrying bag. When collapsed into the bag, they take up VERY little room, and can store nearly anywhere. When we first got them, my 7 year old and I set up a goal and staked it, and gave it a beating with continual practice shots on goal. They work great and didn't move at all. The stitching seems solid and I have no worries about the quality. They're perfect for practice shots, drills, and even for a quick pick up game. They're not so great for practice shots with an adult as a goalie... it'd be pretty hard to get a shot past an adult standing in front of the goals.I imagine we'll get MANY years of use out of these. I highly recommend them.

TOP RATE customer service... Very honorable CEO
ORIGINAL REVIEW:The goals looked great but after the first practice, there was a hole in the bottom part of one of the nets where the stitching had come undone. It wasn't a huge hole, but would've started unraveling fast with each practice. It was disappointing and I couldn't decide if I should exchange them for another set, but with the Amazon store I purchased through, I wasn't given the option of exchange. So, I went ahead and returned them and bought a pair of PUGG goals (I've worked with them in the past and knew them to be a quality product and company for just a little more money). I was worried that these Golme pop-ups are such a new product for the company that maybe all the kinks hadn't been worked out in quality issues. But I see no one else has had my issue, so take my review with a grain of salt.I give Golme credit, though, for having such a great return policy and fast refund.UPDATED 4/28/14I changed my original rating of 2 stars to 4 stars because of the SUPERB commitment this company has to it's customers. After I originally wrote my review I received an email from Graham, the CEO of Golme, stating how sorry he was about the problem I had with my goal. He thought maybe it was something overlooked during inspection at the factory or possibly damaged during shipment. He offered to send me a new set on the house in order to hopefully earn back my business! I have never experienced something like this. Top Rate company!!!!
